what's the big deal with all the names? that's not what i tend to remember about anything. nor care about doing so. themnax has served me well, ever since the first time i used it on a teletype machine outside a bookstore in berkley, before there even were PERSONAL computers that any mere mortal could afford. when the smallest cheepest computer system was a dec pdp 8e or an hp2000, and i don't think even appollo 13 had yet been launched.

of course THIS place didn't exist yet then. the idea that anything like it ever could or would was still the stuff that dreams, mine anyway, were made of.

I joined here 2003 undera different name, which ive forgotten now. Then joined again in 05 with this one. I came here loads those first 2 years, but i dont remember anyone elses names either. Basically i just have a shit memory
