Im so sick of this world and this war. Its time another revolution is started. The world needs to learn to love again. We need to learn to share and help others. Theres people here who have so much money they dont know what to do with it meanwhile kids in africa have nothing. Its all so wrong, I just wish I could change it all. I guess the best I can do is "Be the change you want to see in the world"-Gandhi

I agree that there are a lot of problems in the world, and that things really do need to change. But I'm unsure about the idea of a "revolution," mostly because it's a really vague concept. A lot of people talk about starting "a revolution," but what exactly does this mean? Is it going to be violent? Are we going to overthrow the government? Or, instead of fighting, is there going to be a "revolution" in the conciousness and ideology of the people? I think that before we try to start something, we should know what we're agreeing to...

And I don't mean to "rain on your parade," because I mostly agree with you and I think it's great that you actually care about the world... but I've lost track of how many times I've seen people here talking about wanting a "revolution." Talking isn't going to do anything. I don't know what will, really, because after all our protests against the Iraq war, even that one thing isn't changing. Maybe the best thing is, as you say, for each individual to decide to "be the change he/she wishes to see in the world." Maybe if everyone did that, then we could have real change.

I dont believe in a violent revolution at all, I think thats completely hypocritical. I guess I just long for the changes that happened in the 60's. And as for talking Ive realized this wont do anything unless you live by your beliefs and what you say. Maybe we can all change the world one person at a time through our love.

Maybe a lot of people don't want to be changed, feel like they're living their life the way they think it's right, even if it's not drenched in peace and love.
