    Hey Erol!

Do you remember me - Noose?
It's strange... Some of the old folks sometimes enter for a while, and say "hello"... Recently I saw Penny (scroll down on this site). I also said "hello" to OctopusRide in here some time ago... And I have seen Flowerian at the german forum.

I agree that it's a bit sad to witness such a cosy forum dying. I agree - 2001-2003 were the best times for this forum. But as all other forums, had its shining hour.

I remember that soon as one person exited Europe Forum, many other people followed back then.

Do you remember Lalalahti from Finland? She wanted to arrange this festival. She really wanted to do this, but as the time came close, she couldn't manage to cope with it. That's why she left the forum. She was afraid that people got very angry at her, because she couldn't manage it & had to leave her promises.
After she left, I often spoke to her the next couple of years. She often told me that she was very embarrased to quit her plans. She told me that she really ment it, but that she simply realized that she couldn't manage it, and she didn't want to come at Europe Forum anymore, because she was embarrased & afraid of ppl's reaction...
I told her, that people would understand if she was explaining the situation, but I was not able to convince her.

But someday probably new people will be hangarounds in here - and who knows? Someday, maybe we can arrange such a festival in the future! :)

    Love and understanding,
    -noose-

yeah of course i remember you :):) it was such a good time here back then. i hope everything works fine for you :) today I took me some time to read some of those old threads, it really has been the heyday of this forum. on the other hands its a bit weird to read that old stuff, i mean we all spent so much time in here and now its just gone. i think for me it was just a phase and somehow i changed a lot over the years, maybe not that much in attitude but more hidden, but ya know i was quite young. i began to post here in 1999 or 2000 and was 17 years old then.

and yes i remember lalalahti too. oh, that wouldnt have been a problem, i'm sure we would have found another place for it. sad she left because of this. are you still in contact with her?

do you remember me wanting to do this european hippy map? lol
my nickname was _beatnik_ at that time. when i started to post here i posted under michaelrainbow. now thats kinda strange i really identified wigh that name hehe

yeah maybe we can realize some kind of a hippy festival someday my brother.

ah, in between, do you have msn?

    many greetings

    Hey Erol! :)
Despite most of the folks back then was younger than I was, I have also changed during the years. Not in a bad direction - I have not become more bourgeois or something like that. I have becomed more aware of which direction to take over the last couple of years - more aware of who I am, and what to do.
Back then, I was in a middle of a moment in my life, which was very confusing to me. I wrote a lot of rubbish in here, because I couldn't see the direction in my life. I was often afraid & confused. I am more aware of myself now. I'm more stabile, and I know what my next step is like. So I have also grown older.

I have often been thinking about deleting my profile in here. But at the other hand, I have also always been very curious to see, what's going on in here. So I kept an eye on Europe Forum, and I think the participation in here has been like waves. Since the days you, me, Lalalahti, Penny, Flowerian etc. were hanging around in here, there has been other moments where the wave was high. There has been like 2-3 "generations" since back then, but it seems like that people don't really give this forum a chance. Newbies enter for a while & leave again...

Unfortunately, I don't have contact to Lalalahti anymore. We lost contact more than 3 years ago. That was not caused by a crisis in our friendship... it simply faded out by some odd reason...

Yes, ofcourse I remember your map! :D Do you remember, that you were not able to complete it, cuz at that moment many newcomers were arriving at Europe Forum? ;)

I don't wanna dig in all these old threads myself - I'm a very emotional & melancolic guy and I would turn too depressed & nostalgic if I sat down and read all that - but please post some links if you find something really worth to read from back then!! :)

I will PM my MSN-mail, but I don't chat very often at messenger. Ofcourse you're welcome to add me, but I don't chat very often at messenger. Therefore I will also PM the email that I check every day. :)

    love,
    /wolf
