well, the female body isn't disgrossting to me, but when it comes down to it, I'd rather not see it. But it's unfair to say that I like ALL male bodies too. Like there are some guys with their viagra falls of chest hair and stuff, and that turns me off just as fast as a vagina does.

Can i just say (as a general note - not really directed to anyone) that while I understand gays/lebians not wanting to see the opposite sex's bits and bobs, it's quite another thing to just insult them and call them repulsive - it is part of a human body after all, and isn't that even a little beautiful?.. I found it quite offensive to read that some gay males view vaginas as "dirty dirty slits" and I would feel the same if i read comments showing that lesbians thought like that about a penis.

Just my two cents (or pennies seeing as we dont have cents in England?)

well i think womens bodies are beautiful, I'm not sexually aroused by them, but by the same tocken I tend not to be sexually aroused by a beautiful painting

I'm not particularly grossed out by the nude female form at all. In fact, in many ways, I find it rather beautiful at times. But it really all comes down to what the woman looks like.

I'm gay, but I know excellent artistic form when I see it. I personally feel that Lucy Lawless and Gillian Anderson are beautiful when nude, but I'm not turned on by them. Or any nude female for that matter.

And even when it comes to men, I am extremely picky about what I find to be handsome. The last thing I tend to look at is the cock. If I don't feel a man is handsome, the cock means NOTHING to me. And even if the man is extremely handsome to me, the look of the cock itself can ruin the whole effect if I don't find IT attractive.

Point taken honeyfugle...yes it comes across as offensive and disrespectful to women...maybe as a gay guy my own description was too graphic. Maybe it would be more suitable for me to say that the female form and womens vagina is a big turn off.

I think (I haven't bothered to read through the whole thing so I might be wrong) that when people say they find the opposite sex repulsive, they mean more that they are repulsed by the idea of having sex with them or having to touch them or whatever than by their actual body itself. I don't know, but maybe.

    Good point though [IMG]

I think its more the look of it is repulsive...maybe thats too graphic but its the best word i could think of, when i look at a vagina i am repulsed by how it looks and everything it entails. I had a bad experience in science class where i learnt about the female genitalia and menstruation...i was physically sick during that lesson..it was utterly disgusting. Although im a gay guy im bound to say that but i know straight guys who were turned off by the female genitalia and what it entails. Obviously im biased but i love the male body...it turns me on...no saggy tits or disgusting vagina...ewwwww.

Jeffery, even after being notified you don't seem to understand the concept of 'tact' do you?

Jeffrey you sound like an 8 year old, its probable that at least half of the readers here will be female, is a bit of respect for the bodies of half the population and the body that you yourself came out of, too much to ask?

my husband spends HOURS just looking at pictures of female genitalia. he's earned his red wings, he loves to just lube mine up and look at it, play with it, get as close to it as possible. he loves just rolling around on in, like a pig in a wallow (seriously, that's what it feels like to me) i just have to sit there. he's not the only one. though when men are young, and they're being presented with with female genitalia, it's new, it's strange, and they're surrounded by their peers. it's supposed to be icky. but you get a man alone, and i must confess, my puss has been popular, both scent and formation. but do i think everyone would like it? hell no. seriously, quite calling it repulsive. that's not sensitive at all. that's (please forgive the major stretch) as acceptable as saying you think black people are ugly.

Yes I agree, I'm not that impressed with the attitide of some of the people on this thread, some people are saying that the gender they are not attracted too is ugly and disgusting and some people are making the absurd assumpation that everyone agrees with them, this isn't primary school and saying that half the population bodies is disgusting isn't that many steps different from being racist or homophobic, as KC pointed out.

I think vaginas are unattractive. I'm sorry. I don't like the look of them and can't imagine touching one. I don't mean to sound ignorant but that's how I feel. Can't help it. To compare these types of feelings to racism is completely absurd. They look unnatural to me. Not sure why, that's just how it works.

well I don't think you said they where disgusting did you?
the comment was directed at people that made extreem comments about male and female bodies, not people like you that simply say 'I'd rather not'

Ok..OK...I got the hint this time...maybe my choice of language was too strong...but it best describes how i feel about the vagina...i can see how it comes across as disrespectful to women but my opinion shouldnt matter as im a gay guy...its only if straight guys feel the way i do about female genitalia that you have a problem. Ok I wont use words like repulsive or disgusting again...lets just say the vagina is a big fat no no from me...Hows that for being tactful??...i'm learning...i'm learning. Now when it comes to a mans body i'm utterly in love with it:drool:...naturally, i'm a gay guy...i love mens bodies.

saying you prefer one thing is entirely different and more tactful. you don't even have to say you dislike the other, because it's implied withOUT being hurtful.

me, i'm so lucky, i fucking love them both.

Funnily enough the world i live in has very very few women in it...i go to an all boys school and gay clubs....i hardly ever see women. Yes its important to respect differences...but its also important to be honest with how you feel...maybe the choice of words was too strong and not tactful. I remember a gay guy on Big Brother was having a conversation with a girl and he happened to say to her that the vagina is revolting...she was upset with this so maybe i should have learned from that to be a little more subtle in my choice of words. Its just i had a terrible experience in science class when the subject was female genitalia and menstruation..i felt like throwing up. That experience has scarred me...im a vagina free zone...how can i say it...i love the cock...sums up perfectly how i feel.:)
