Yesterday I went to the hospital because a piece of Babylon debry flew into my eye and cut it! It's very painful! The docotor put me on anti-boitoics. Is there anything I do do to make the pain more bearable? My eye looks gross. :(

Maybe try an eye patch too, so you won't feel the need to open it so it might hurt less. I've heard that is really painful, I hope your eye feels better soon!

Ohh... sounds painful... the sunglasses or patch is definately a great idea because it won't strain your eye as much... as far as medication goes I'd say take Advil or Tylenol(any thing over the counter) ..

Like everyone else says, tylenol and ibuprofen are pretty much the extent of your OTC choices. I don't know about mixing ibuprofen and acetaminophen (tylenol). Do, however, avoid mixing NSAIDs like ibuprofen, aspirin, and naproxen together, because they all have the same mechanism. Acetaminophen works by a different (and not clearly known) mechanism. An eye patch also isn't a bad idea. Hope you feel better!
