remember hip forums back in the day? (8 years ago)

remember pressed rat the music guy, and uh...that seems to be the only name remembers from like 8 years ago. i bet skip and ellisdtripp remember. i bet chiefcowpie and and old crone remember.

i remember i had a name, but i forgot it now, i was the guy who wrote those awsome stories about alices resturant.

 

Pressed_Rat is still around. I remember Love and Sitareric and Psyche with different name and Pink Floyd with a different name. I was here in 2003

 

In short, no. I am a newbie by these standards.

well i remember dressed in blue girl. i'm not generally one for remembering individual persons names, but the focus and perspective of the membership was much more interesting, much more focused on the kind of world, what some of us old timers had been back in the waaay back day when the term hippie had been created to discredit any and all focus on doing so.

when people still remembered that what we had shared the label hippie for, was not putting trying to impress each other ahead of the kind of world we all have to live in, as exploitive economic interests butter their bread by keeping people focused on, and thus and of course felt threatened by our exception to doing so.

that is what i was looking for when i found this place and what i am most dissapointed in its seeming to have forgotten.

I've been here since 2003. I changed my name fairly recently...

 

i was here late 2002, i guess.

 

I browsed the site a little around 02, and finially got a name in 04 but have changed a few times I cant even remember who i was. Didnt post alot though, mostly just reading.

 

Mr. Pickles? I remember Mr. Bubbles, but not Mr. Pickles. Are you sure that was your screen name?

 

I went to many new names but this one seems to work best for my alter ego, as a canadian female.
