So, I got my grades in school. I know grades are kinda silly, but deep down inside this crazy hippy is a nerd that enjoys being an over-achiver. Well, I'm doing SUPA FINE in all my classes except science, but no worries, It was because I did poorly on a few bell quizzes cause I was absent. But man, I really felt the good vibes going around my school these past few weeks. So, anyone else on their natural high or feeling particularly groovy tonight[or day?] Share it, and we'll all relish in it with you! -Peace, Love and Respect
I got my grades for the term not long ago aswell. I got alright in most subjects. Very good in art, english, metal (only because I painted my metal car that we made really well, and the teacher was impressed and gave me a high mark...even though the actual car was very very bad ) and a couple others, but I got not very good in maths congrats for doing well though peace love Jane
Well done sister! You did fab! Much peace and love wished from your hippy sister of the stars, Kate xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx p.s, LOVE your username! I love Rainbows!
hehehe my grades.... not so good. but congrats. do well in school and you'll go far. a mind is a terrible thing to waste
good job on those grades. im feeling pretty good right now as well... i just got back from a nice long bike ride in the park. rainbow, where in ohio are you from?
Done my schoolwork for today, have only to courses left to follow this week and I'm listening to some great tunes . That's what gives me a natural high. Oh, and of course a big cup of coffee!
I shall revive this thread, for it is full of awesomeness. Good idea, rainbows'set'us'free! And congrats on your grades! woohoo! I like getting good grades, too, lol. ...which is part of what is freakin' awesome about life right now... I got a 95 on a philosophy paper! Yay! Also... this is a three day weekend! And tomorrow, I'm going to the Green Festival, hopefully with my new friend (who just got a hookah, lol). Today I went to a Burma protest; on the 21st/22nd, I'm going to another protest, where I'll be doing my first civil disobedience action! Also, my mom is coming to visit me at the end of the week, and I've been talking to my younger sister on Facebook lately, which has been fun... I'm suspecting more and more that she's becoming rather "hippie"-like herself, lol. So, come on people! Share your stories of why you're happy and why your life freakin' rocks!
school is fo fools hahhaha just kiddin, stick wit it im originally form northeast ohio too havent been here for awhile though, tryin out this new name
Yup, today is very nice too. Sunshine! Today I bicycled for the first time in like... half a year lol. :O It was nice and relaxed!
It was pretty damn cold last night. Foggy too. I'm glad I had gloves and a hat, and was in a haze myself. Cycled on the autopilot, teehee. Oh, the sky above me was pretty clear though! Looked great.
Hooray for bicycling! I love riding my bike around the park, in the sun, with a nice breeze. I haven't been bike riding in a long time, though... my sister trashed my bike, lol.
Woot for reviving the thread. But yeah, all of that, biking and stuff rocks. and congrats Nodirection on the philosophy paper! I wish I could go to some protests, nobody has any around here D;
Well, I don't know exactly where you live, but if you do a google search for activist groups in your area... like anti-war or environmentalist groups... their websites should have info about events that are coming up. United for Peace and Justice (http://www.unitedforpeace.org/index.php) also has a list of activist groups for different cities/states/countries, including Ohio (http://www.unitedforpeace.org/groups.php?state=OH). You could also look at Protest.net (http://protest.net/). It has calendar of protests/progressive events for a bunch of different cities all around the world. Good luck finding protests!
I'm having a nice day! I copied stuff for my coming exams, set a date to have dinner with a friend and watch Rocky Horror Picture Show (we've had plans to watch it together for three years now lol), and also with my best friend who's not in town so often anymore to have dinner and shrooms next friday. I walked up to Rene the hobo and we had a little chat and I bought this month's edition of the underground newspaper made and sold by the homeless people of the city, and tonight I'm going to some club for an archeaologists' party. Weather's nice, too, nothing to complain about!
