    Dude, calm down.

I have the DVD, but I've only watched it once. On first viewing, I didn't like it as much as most of Lynch's other films. Inland Empire has a lot of horrifying moments, like any Lynchian trip, but I felt like it didn't have the well-established mood that some of his other films (Eraserhead, Fire Walk With Me) have. I'll have to watch it at least a couple more times to really make my decision, but I'm just not in the mood to watch it lately.

Sorry awesome movies get me goin!! I thought the angles, sounds, and lighting were amazing. Also the backrounds were awesome. I really really liked the movie. Ya i can see how it didnt have that well-established mood. Moods are just jumping around. 1 scene ur laughin ur ass off and the next u are terrified. Thanks for respondin its nice to see a Lynch fan.

I'm not sure about the digital video--I haven't warmed up to it, yet. Actually, I'm not sure I ever will. I love the look of Fire Walk With Me and Lost Highway... Mulholland Dr., too... and Inland Empire is missing some of that, with the whole DV thing. But Lynch says he's doing DV exclusively from now on, so I guess I better try to get used to it.

It's easier to work with. He can film things more quickly, act on any idea he might have, and not have to worry about cost. I can understand the benefits, but I don't like the look.

It was definitely fucked up and I'm not sure what it was trying to say, but there were some classic Lynch moments-- creepier than that homeless guy in Mulholland Dr. The rabbits were a bit much.

Yeah, the scene where Laura Dern walks the trail towards the camera--good God, that was horrifying. It reminded me of a scene from the last episode of the Twin Peaks series where Agent Cooper's doppelganger runs towards the camera in the Black Lodge. Speaking of which, you guys should check out the Twin Peaks Gold Box--I just got it yesterday, and it's pretty awesome. Kind of expensive, though.

I've always thought that the Winkies man was very frightening in Mulholland Dr., and of course the corpse scene was incredible. And the whole Club Silencio scene is both wonderful and disturbing. I don't see how people can hate that film.

I love how in some scenes would be normal and then all of the sudden you would here the horror music and everything got really intense. I thought it was kinda funny. Did u guys notice this. I am sure u did.
Oh by the way Lucifer Sam i forgot to give u props on ur screen name. Piper at the gates of dawn is one of my favorite Pink Floyd albums
