Actual alcoholics get horrible hangovers. First off your liver sucks, and secondly, you drink upwards of thirty drinks a night.

All ya gotta do to avoid a hangover is BEFORE you pass out, drink a full glass of water and pop an asprin. Then in the morning when you get up, drink another glass of water.

I've NEVER had a hangover, and I AM an alcoholic, haha :D

Try drinking 2 fith's of Irish whiskey in less than
an hour, and see how much popping an aspirin
and drinking a glass of water helps you!!
Although when I was 15 I drank a full bottle
of Red Label in about 20 minutes by a lake
and remaind concious, went home and mowed
the grass and never had any side effect.
But that was when I was 15...

I 'always' get a hangover - its sucks so much - If my memory serves me right, I think there has only been 1 or 2 times I've woken up feeling fine after drinking.
And yes I always drink a bunch of water after I drink, it never helps.

I can down a fifth of Jack in one sip (like belushi did in Animal House). but it isn't for my amusement, by any means. I do it to make money or on occasion to entertain masses of people at parties. I don't stay conscious for long afterward. no puking though. I come to about 2-3 hours later. I find the best way to avoid hangovers is to drink whatever you're drinking neat, don't mix it with anything, stay with one brand. Another way is to have a few sips of what kicked yer ass the night before. ibuprofen and lots of gatorade helps as do sunglasses. might as well get a good pair if u plan on making this a lifestyle, because you will wear them everywhere inside and outside. Best to stay inside in the darkest quietest place you can find. set the thermostat to 69 degrees. watch the X files My best friend's parents used to always keep stockpiles of gatorade at their house. they were (and still are drunks) one morning i had spent the night there after a night of hard drinking, and realized why. those hangover pills are a waste of money. Stay away from wine especially any white wine. do this and those pesky hangovers will be a thing of the past. believe me. You're talking to the bastard son of bukowski. Did i mention don't drink the cheap shit b/c you'll pay later?

I drink cranberry juice. Usually two or three glasses in the morning with some toast and eggs perhaps, and I'm ready to go. I'm not a heavyweight by drinking a couple of fifths in an hour by any means, but I can polish one off in a night, or wine, or whatever. Guess I don't really take good advice b/c I mix it all together, too. I suppose it helps that I wake up with my two year old every morning, so I have inspiration not to feel too cranky in the morning, no matter how spun my head is...
