I looked at my shrooms that I have today and there's tiny white dots on the stems. I don't know if they were always there and i just didnt notice them or if they just appeared. Is that ok?
Are they dried, fresh, growing, what? If they're dried, it might just be a dessicant. Calcium chloride is used a lot, and it kind of looks like little white rocks. While it tastes bad, eating a little won't hurt. Don't eat a lot, though, pick it off if you need to. If they're growing, I'd need pics to be able to tell you anything.
They're dry but I did just take pics.. although they are blury (you can't see the dots) I suppose its better than nothing. I can't tell from those pics. They're blurry. Wait at least a day and see if it spreads. If not, it's most likely good, but start with a small bit first. Yes, blue bruising can look kind of black if it's really dark. It's really more of a dark, dark purple if you really take a close look, though.
I checked them this morning and it didn't look like they changed much. You still wouldn't be able to see it if I took a picture. It might of spread a little but I really can't tell. I might eat them today since it doesn't look too bad?
