    Why does it say may the 70's live forever in the sub-forum title?

    The 70s were the classic years for prog. The 70s were to Prog what the 60s were to Psychedelia, or what the 40s were to Big Band.

    Yes, King Crimson, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Gong, Gentle Giant, Traffic, all created most of their classic Prog Rock albums in the early 70s.

    And today we have Fall Of Troy, Mars Volta, Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, King Crimson, Rush, Yes, and several others are still going...

    don't forget CAMEL! their 70's shit is probably the best music ever made. besides Gentle Giant that is!
