Alright. well i am on the birth control alesse. and have been for a while now. i have been reading up alot lately and alot of things have said it was okay, and my friends doctor specifically gave it to her because she said she wanted to miss her peroid sometimes. i just wanted some more input before i do it. becasue i have vacation next week, and i do not want to have my peroid. if i throw out the sugar pills and continue on with a fresh pack i won't get my peroid. has anyone tried this and gotten theirs inbetween on alesse? thanks.
im on alesse and when i tried that, i got a shortened period a week later than normal then my regular one at the next pack of sugar pills. maybe it was just my body chemistry, but alesse is a rather low dose pill so it doesnt always override the natural urge of our bodies to menstruate you can try it, but make sure you bring some period products with you just in case
alright. so you didn't get it until you took the next sugar pills? thast what ytou are saying right? because thats what it looks liek to me. i just want to make sure that i don't get it inbetween when i am not taking the sugar pills.
ROFLMFAO Young girls telling other girls what they say to their doctors to get prescriptions. HA! Um, why don't you want to have your period? It's kindda natural. Sorta like a fact of life, much like sleeping, peeing and eating. Unpleasantries to the narrow-minded perhaps, but pretty frickin' essential to living a healthy life. Someday, you may just do anything to get your period back. Best of luck experimenting with your fertility. I hope it's worth it for you.
First off. what are you talking about? no one is telling anyone what to say to their doctors to get a perscription. Second of all, why is it so funny? "ROLLMFAO" ? Third of all, if you read what i wrote, because im going to vacation. and its not like its going to go away forever, so why would i do anything to get it back, when it will be coming in 3 weeks? hahahaha
Have you talked to YOUR doctor about it at all? It seems like you read a few sites and wanted to get advice from people online before you would go ahead and take the plunge without even thinking about talking to the doctor who prescribes your meds. What's wrong with getting your period while on vacation? You haven't explained why you feel it is necessary not to have your period while on vacation. I think it's funny because you have made no good reason known, to make your body do something unatural. How is purposefully skipping a period a health issue, exactly? As far as I am concerned, using the birth control pill to skip periods or terminating them completely is drug abuse.
well thats nice that you think that. i did consult my doctor actually before i left. and i am not going to explain my entire reasoning nor am i going to cause an argument over the intertnet.
