I download pretty much all of my music, but if I really enjoy the band, I'll buy the cd. Most of the time if I go watch a band, I'll try and support them and buy their cd, since they make quite a bit more profit if you actually buy it straight from them, instead of off of some website or store.
I downloaded all of pink floyd tool primus and bob marleys albums in the last week its bad but i do it alot
do it all the time, but also have over 300 cd's. i just like to have all my favorites on 10-15 cd's and im too lazy to download all the cd's then get the songs off, instead just download the songs.
Yeah... I have over 2,000 CDs and about a little over 350 are actually real... so I definitely pirate music, and buy what's amazing.
i think its crap. i never download anything without artist permission. the only thing i download is live shows, which is ok with the artists. Ive bought over 60 Cd's in the past year. illegally downloaded 0.
for music and music videos i feel little to no remorse downloading, If i really like somthing i will go out and buy it, i think i've probably bought 12-15 cd's in the last year As for games and programs, i feel worse because these producers i'm exploiting kind of need support in order to release updates and have quality products..but i really cant justify spending the amount of money it would cost me to play all the games i do
Yup, I pirate. I goto live shows though, and those are the bands I really support. I hear most of the money from the CDs you buy goto the record companies and not the artist.
i almost always pirate everything these days.. unless its a local unknown artist.. but now im pissed because ISOhunt pussed out and now blocks all US trackers... making it now a gay torrent site when it use to be one of the best.. a site that supposably was "fighting for our rights" now has buckled down to the US pressure
I do it some, but im not that into music. Usually just a song here and there. Movies however i do all the time, but who cares, those corporations have enough money already.
