im looking for a scale that measures in mgs and hopefully isnt too exspensive.

where would be the best place to look and what can i expect to spend on one?

I'm going to shamelessly bump this thread up until somebody who knows where to find these things answers. I'd like to know too. Thanks for starting this thread because too many people OD because they don't measure right. I speak from personal experience. Not a good day.

 

This is the best site I have found. They have a special right now for a milligram scale for only $100, not sure how long that will last though. Even is the sale is over, you can get one for $130 to $140. Those are the best prices I have found.

is there a foolproof way to eyeball it? my buddy said he justs licks his finger and sticks in it the bag. sounds crazy to me, anybody else?

 

There is NO way to eyeball it. Do not do this. It is extremely stupid and extremely dangerous.

 

eyeballing it isn't fool proof. I'd say that it isn't that bad though with small amounts. like if you have 50 mg 2ce you could safely split it into 5 piles, even if you ended up with 40 mg in a pile you'd be fine. but if you're working down from grams to the mg range, don't do it.

 

ok what if i had 1 gm. i cut it in fours. that makes 250 mg. take 250 mg and put it in 250 ml of water/juice whatever. then is it safe to assume 1 mg 2c=1 ml water/juice? then i could just keep dividing it into little glasses until i reach a desired amount. say 15- 20 mg/ml 2c. does that sound crazy or is it just easier to get a scale. now that i think about it, it seems easier just to get a scale.

 

I'd say easier to get a scale. you can also use it with future Rc's and even weed or shrooms. if you eveball it like that in theory it would work, but you have to realise the chance of a lame or overwhelming trip

 

You have no way of knowing the original amount is 1g, and its so much better being able to weigh drugs you buy, then you can tell people to fuck off if things are underweight ;0

Hey Trippy i got my scale from the same place. It was a few years ago but good all around experience with them. I think you can use most gem scales that weigh carats.

 

Our scale is alright, but since the RCs we test are so fluffy, sometimes I'm not sure it's measuring them right. I'm almost positive the doses have been higher than they should be several times.

 

id just way out a gram on a gram scale then eyeball it into how ever much you want.

 

You do NOT eyeball RCs. the differences between five milligrams is astounding, and for certain ones like DOx, five milligrams is enough to ruin your entire weekend, or get yourself hurt if you're not used to tripping hard.

 

Why would that matter? A pound of feathers weighs the same as a pound of brick.

 

You would think so, but when I tamp it down a little the scale changes its measurement and stays there.

 

Problem is you never know that you only have 1 gram. It's not uncommon for RC vendors to give you a little extra.
