Hello everyone. Hopefully im posting in this in the right sub forum. I'm pretty new here and have only posted in the poetry forum until now, but as I'm from the UK thought i should say hello to everyone here and introduce myself. My names Helen, 19 and i live in sunny devon although was born in manchester so am a northern invading the south. Would be happy to make some friends with some lovely people from the UK. Does anyone live in devon here as well? i love music, writing, reading and travelling. anyway i wont type to much. if anyone wants to say hello, that would be great. bye X

oo hello nate. you left a comment on one of my poems 2. Thankyou. music list would be about a mile long. i like pink floyd, josh pyke, jack savoretti, led zepp, beatles, cat stevens, nick cave, porcupine tree, polyphonic spree.....the list is endless really. a bit from every genre i'd say. and authors is the same, currently reading: brave new world by huxley. how about you? what sort of things do u like? and where in scotland are you from?
im from dundee, my music taste is very ecclectic i love lots of stuff at the moment listening to some elliot smith. i love to read also brave new world was a good read i still need to return the copy i have its been about 2 years woops. yeah i just read your poem rainbow days. how long you been writting poetry?
ooo elliot smith is great! love him. yeah, i dont like the title of that one, need to change it. i've been writing for a while but never had the guts to post them up, but thought i would as everyone seems really helpful and nice on the forum. do you write at all?
i try at poetry and essays not posted anything though, yeah i have only come across one guy who wasnt friendly. so what is it you do with your time? student? work?

you never know i might share some, yeah enjoying being unemployed for a bit, living of the savings for a wee while
good idea. did that myself about a year ago was mint, saving up again now, this time to go travelling! if u do share, let me know.
i'm going inter-railing round europe with a mate of mine. although i'm not sure if i will end up going, as it would be for about 3 months and i would miss my boyfriend too much haha. should really, but i dunno.
