While falling asleep recently I had one of the weirdest dream experiences I have ever had. I was laying down with my head resting in my hand. As I was falling asleep I suddenly saw a very large city from an arieal view. I knew I was dreaming and that the city I was seeing was not real. Then I was on a road of this same city moving at a highspeed. I could see things in great detail. I could read signs for places and businesses. I continued to go from seeing this city from an areial and street view. The two looked remarkably different. From an above view the area was extremely colorful and almost alien looking, but on the street it looked like a normal city, but not one I have ever been in. I then was still falling asleep but concious. I felt suddenly that hundreds (if not infinite) were walking over me. It was not painful, but it was abrupt and discomforting. I felt these were people I knew and didn't that we simply stepping on me over and over again. It was very similar feeling to a salvia trip I had. What interests me about this dream was the certain lucidity and control I had about where I moved in the dream. I have started keeping a dream journal again so that I might again (as I use to) experience constant lucid dreaming.
