I had a Dream of making a bad grade! What does this mean?

If anyone knows about this, I would appreciate it. I had a dream of making a bad grade last night! The dream was that I took this test at work and made a 40 on it. (Even though there are no tests and I am a communications coach in my job). If anyone can share what this might mean, I would appreciate it.

well idk what it means but I had a dream some months AFTER graduation that I still had some tests and papers to do and I didn't get a start on any of that LOL.

 

Your dream seems to be a variant of the one where a person realizes that they have not studied for an important final exam or are late for it etc. Usually this type of dream relates to anxiety about how one appears to others, or the fear of not measuring up to a social role (“Is he really a good Communications Director?”). The analogy comes from the idea that examinations/tests are evaluations by collective standards.



You could try jotting down the spontaneous thoughts, memories and feelings that come to mind about work, the test, and the low mark. Sifting through what emerges might show some interconnected themes that would reveal the specific situation that you were anxious about, probably without your realizing it clearly if at all.
