I dont get it...how can you *not* walk alone? What if you need to run out for groceries or some other such reason?
i wish i could go alone. i'm never alone. it's been more stressful (in a good way) since my sister in law's family came to visit. it's a lotta noise and business, and eventually i need a quiet break, no matter how wonderful they are. i sent them and dave off to a brewery festival, i'm watching the kids. and it's SO QUIET. *sigh* it's nice. but it'll be nice when they're back, too. just needed a little quiet.
i'm too lazy to actually "go for a walk." but i do sometimes walk places and i usually would do so alone. i can't take walks with people because i walk too fast and they get pissed off at me
I walk pretty slow myself. Short legs? haha. I walk everywhere, it is my main transport. Bus is expensive with shit times. Bicycle tire is busted. Live on my own.
how much do they charge for the bus up there? it's only a dollar here, although i still hate it. it's on time about once a month, and that WILL be the one time that month you're running late... then it just doesn't even show up sometimes. if you think the bus is expensive though, try taking a cab. go across town and back and you've spent an entire day's earnings just on a ride
I've gone for a walk on my own a few times... it's a good way to walk off whatever stress may be going on. There's a creek near my house with a path which makes for a good, relaxing 10 minute walk.
I walk a lot, usually alone but not always. It's difficult getting friends away from the TV and fridge. I like the off-trail paths the best. I pass under the old bridge and say hello to the little green troll that hangs out there. Then it's past the houses of the three pigs. Of course, only the brick one is still standing. And if you're a girl, be careful of the wolves out there. Ahh ooooohhh! .
all the time. I love seeing things, people, I love how my thoughts seem to calm as I walk and start to make sense. I also think that walking allows you to really feel a place.
