Busted Selling at College

Hey, I'm wondering if anyone has been or knows of anyone that has been busted selling marijuana at a college, preferably in Canada. I would like to know the consiquences of getting pinched for that because I'm thinking about starting to deal at my college and I've got a pretty "stealth" plan for it as well. Plus, people in a college are smart enough not to immediatly say their dealers name to just anyone, or an authority figure, I think/hope anyway.

I want to know if it's worth the risk of the consiquences. If you just get the boot right away after a first offence, there's no way I'm taking that risk because I had to pay for my college tuition mainly myself, with a little help from my parents.

 

Check your college disciplinary guidelines, they'll tell you what happens if you get busted.

This is of course seperate from any local law enforcement penalties. Maybe NORML Canada?

selling weed is small time, by going to college your trying to make a future out of it hopefully. It's not worth the risk in my opinion, and trust me I've thought about doing the same.

 

I don't think I would have a large dealing operation going in a college. I would go for people you can trust, just not random party people. Also, tell your customers this as some may reccomend you and you might get these people coming to the door all the time and make you look sketchy. I would think that the consequences would be rather extreme as well. I wouldn't take any risks with this one. Good luck my friend!

 

I'm not living at the college. My plan is to keep all my weed in the hatchback of my car in the parking lot and just hang out outside. If people want weed, we can go out to my car and check out my "new subs".

 

Im not telling you how to run your shit, but making deals outside isnt the best idea. especially if you live in apartments/dorms.

 

Deffainetly need to re-thing you plan. You never ever keep your weed in your car. You will get busted so quick. If a cop pulls you over when you run up to the grocery store, and he see's a college kid, all he has to do is even think you smoke or party. He will come up with a probable cause and you are screwed. Your better off to keep your stuff in your apartment or house. If you live with your parents do like I did. (I had good mids) that smelt. So I went to the local head shop and got a few of them air tight seal containers with the gasket.. Stick all your weed in a plastic bag. Then another bag. And another. And stick it in these containers and it will hold the smell. Then hide it up in your closet or something. My closet has a little attic that goes to the roof so I'm all set. Also don't store your weed out in the hott heat.

Allright. I've been keeping my weed in my car for years. I've been pulled over 3 times and gotten 2 speeding tickets (while baked for one of them) and no cop has ever assumed I was holding. Cops can't just pull a probable cause out of their ass, that's the entire reason we have the law of needing a probable cause... otherwise it pretty well defeats the entire purpose. Yeah there are some crooked cops out there, but not enough to really worry me. Also, I'm not worried about cops busting me in the act. I'm worried about what will happen in the off chance that a faculty member finds out and ends up busting me. Theres no cops that patrol our college parking lot, infact there's pretty much no one out there most of the time besides the odd person getting in their car and leaving right away.

Now beleve me, the hiding spot in my car is as stealth as it gets. I pride myself on finding good spots like this even thought I don't need to at home because my parents know I smoke weed and they don't mind it. Not because they're "failures as parents" or anything like that... They just know I'm not a burn out, that I work somewhat hard and am going somewhere.

 

Do as you please. But please believe I've been dealing for several years and I try and be a smart dealer not a street dealer. Remember theres 2 types of dealers, one who will be busted and one who has been busted.

You will be better off finding a part time job. Your average school dealers make about the same as a mc. donalds job. I came up through the line and did the same thing now I deal full time for a living now, and had to get a job just for a coverup. And I will tell you right now, people look at dealing as a money making game. Dealing is no game. I just watched a buddy of mine get 25 years of his life yesterday. Not trying to scare you, but dont go out and think you can make money by dealing. Dealing isnt a game.

 

I've got a part time job, not at fuckin Mc. Donalds, I edit photos and do restorations for Japan Camera. I just wana sell enough weed to smoke for free, or nearly free. I'm not looking to make a huge profit.

 

Cops can do whatever they want, trust me they can invent probable cause out of their ass. They can say that you were acting weird, breathing heavly. Maybe they smelt something. Maybe you took too long to pull over. They can even say they felt in danger from you. Probable cause is easy to come up with. When you have the power you do what you want and they have the power sadly enough.

It doesnt matter where you live, you should NOT do anything illigal outside. for several reasons
1. You do not have control of the situation(cops could drive up etc, a neighbor could see you go to the car too much and call it in)
2. Cars get robbed, so if you are planning to hold some weight that could end up bad

Selling in college is usually easy(especially at larger schools) because there are a million other people doing it and only 5-10 cops looking for the hundreds of them.

 

thats what i was doing before i left for college. slanging so i got to chief for free. ur gonna wanna find some stupid kids that you can sell a "half" to for like $180 of some fire, but because fire looks phatter than other bud you can skimp them a lot.
i was only fortunate to get that chance once, but that kept me set for a while. (i made like $90 of that one time)
and if u slang to ur friends, u really won't make that much because u will feel like a dick if you don't hook them up with an alright deal (and so you really don't make that much)

do cops in canada really care that much about herb?

i would not recommend keeping your stash of weed in your car, you never know who might be listening or watching you. keep it inside your house away from the public. i just stick to low time dealing (I.E. i know 2 people who want eighths each,its 60$ an eighth around here, quarters go for a 100-110.) its a quick and easy 10-20$ and i actually only posses the weed for a short period of time. that or i will just connect people and take a small finders fee or work it out so that i get a little cut, might just be gettin smoked out. But hey i can come away with a good feeling knowing i hooked some friends up.

yeah man im at a uni in canada... just go on your school website, look up the academic calendar, they'll have something about illegal drugs on the premises of the school bla bla bla. most people on campus are pretty cool... but beware, dont deal to people you dont know too well (and all their friends) because sometimes youll run into the odd idiot who likes to talk about shit at parties or after class or something. just a warning but i doubt youll run into probs...

cops arent that crazy but you will know best depending what place you live... generally dont keep it in your car TOO much, maybe a very small amount... just because if some shit does go down it's not gonna be a big deal. anyway thats my advice tho ive never dealed lol good luck

 

If that spot in your car is that good...everyone is going to get to watch you pull it out of there to sell it. Also everyone will soon know that you keep it in the car...not good. At least make them think it's kept inside at night.

In all honesty it sounds like you make good money at your part time job. Why not just work a little more? If you worked a little more you'd smoke a little less and have more money for weed. Quiting selling is hard man. It's kinda like an addiction. Most people just get busted. Those of us who didn't, struggled with stuff like that.

toke1234 - I recommend you stop telling us that you currently are a drug dealer. You're IP is known to anyone who wants to know it. I see enough probable cause in your posts within this thread to justify a warrant. One other thing...not all of us get (got) caught. About 1-5% of us are succesful and eventually find a way to get out before getting popped.

One suggestion for all dealers: quit every couple of years. Take a year off and maybe even move to a different city or state. I was off and on (mainly on) for about...well let's just say quite a few years.

 

It's not hard to sell drugs in college as long as you don't live in dorms, which you don't, but it depends where you go to college. At mine, most of the offcampus students live in the slums nearby, and I doubt that the cops give a shit about some kid selling dime bags because it is in an urban area with more serious crime. I have a few classmates who support themselves from dealing drugs mostly from just selling to their friends and people they loosely know through class or friends, and they all just do it from their apartments.

I think that your fear of getting caught by faculty is unfounded unless you go to a really small school where everybody knows who you are. Chances are that most of them won't care to begin with and that some of them might even smoke themselves since academia tends to be more progressive.

Furthermore, don't listen to toke. He is always posting messages about what a big drug dealer he is, but I think that it is mostly an attempt to impress people over the internet. He's not even old enough to have been in college for longer than a few weeks if he is, so I doubt he really knows what your situation would be like. However, if you need advice on hiding your deviance from your mom and dad, then he is the man to go to.
