    Hi everyone,
I've recently been diagnosed as bipolar and have been put on lithium at first and then changed to carbamazepine which is i think is a drug only used in the UK to treat bipolar and epilepsy suffers as its an anticovulsant to. anyway, they are trying me on this medication to see how it goes, but it may be a case of changing again. i'm just wondering how long it took for others to get there meds right? is it always so chop and change, and how long is it likely to go on for? as right now, i think its making me worse with all the altering of my moods every couple of weeks with some new drug!
    thanks for any advice. X

Omega-3 fatty acids would do the trick without the side effects... Just sayin'.
