This might have been borught up, bought I couldn't find it anywhere. I'm not a communist per say. I'm definitely not a capitilist. i'm a middle of the road guy. Anyway one thing I'm totally on board with is Che Guevara. he was a brilliant revolutionary so I thought I'd by that shirt with his picture on it, but than I decided to wait because I started thinking. Some dude made that shirt into a giant money making scheme. some corporate company is making millions of dollars off it and when it pictures someone who was so against that kind of thing, would buying the shirt be hipocrasy
O thats a good call. What I'm also probably going to do is go down to my local flee market where their's tons of hippie's so they're might be one and that way I'm not benefitting some corporate bastard
Ask someone wearing a Che Guevera shirt who that guy is and what he's done, and they probably won't be able to answer. It's become a clothing fad.
How was he a brilliant revolutionary? He helped install a totalitarian state that destroyed the economy. Maybe you should have a t-shirt with him saluting the firing squads as they execute polical prisoners.
he was a brilliant revolutionary because he sucessfull helped in the revolution of a country, what happend after the revolution does suck but he never stuck around to help rule, he wasnt even cuban
yeah, he fucked up a country and then left, a real hero of the people. (BTW: Che thought Castro was too lenient on the people, even as hundreds of political opponents were executed after mock trials.)
I'm pretty sure most of his work was done abroad. Although I was not aware of the mock trial things and it turns out that is true, but its probable Che had no idea that was going on
hmm, maybe you should actually find out who your so called "heroes" really are... http://archive.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2006/10/4/175241.shtml http://slate.com/id/2107100 http://catallarchy.net/blog/archives/2005/05/01/torture-and-tyranny-the-real-che/ just a couple of articles I stumbled upon. and here's how wikipedia feels about his ignorance over the executions: "He was appointed commander of the La Cabaña Fortress prison, and during his five-month tenure in that post (January 2 through June 12, 1959),[28] he oversaw the trial and execution of many people, among whom were former Batista regime officials and members of the "Bureau for the Repression of Communist Activities" (a unit of the secret police known by its Spanish acronym BRAC). José Vilasuso, an attorney who worked under Guevara at La Cabaña preparing indictments, said that these were lawless proceedings where "the facts were judged without any consideration to general juridical principles" and the findings were pre-determined by Guevara.[29][30] It is estimated that between 156 and 550 people were executed on Guevara's extra-judicial orders during this time.[31]" Che Guevara was a ruthless pro-soviet stalinist communist. He fought to extend the reach of the Soviets(I'm not much of a fan of them either). Che should be despised and I laugh whenever I see someone wearing a tee-shirt with his face on it.
Che was an extraordinary revolutionary who worked to build revolutions in several countries. I have a Che shirt, but I've only worn it once. Most people have no idea who he is, and I'm sure the capitalists find it laughable that they make so much money off of his image. Don't buy the shirt, don't even make one of your own, just carry on his revolutionary ideals.
Instead you should make a shirt featuring the fictionalised Che from "Evita". Brilliant revolutionary... sarcastic commentator... a man with a song in his heart. "Sing you fools, but you got it WRONG!"
I agree. Che was a good guy. We used to get stoned together, and he would always go on and on about how he loved making a difference. Also, he was good looking and had nice hair and a nice beard.
that hapened in all socialistic countries and the comunists had to do it or ther sistem whould failed because the capitalists whould fight back especialy in cuba as hapened(the american invasion which wasn't sucsesful) and Batista was against Che so he had to be sure that he whould not make anty revolution,Batista whould do the same and he had america behind him, Che knew how the capitalists funktion so he fought in the same way and if he didn't do it it whould hapened the same like in chile and spain with pinoce and franco.I don't like stalin also but whith him was diferent he already had socislisam made by Lenin.
