I hate fighting but when I first saw that $20,000 price tag I got a little interested. After realizing all the other shit you put up with in the Army I realized 20 grand isn't worth fucking myself up

Any wonder why our childern want to join up? $20,000 chump change for those that are trying to manipulate the world right now. What is it to them...a pair of seatcovers for their BMW?

 

Don't count on the GI bill it's been so eroded that if they pay for even one year of college, you'll be lucky. Hell they aren't even providing health services to those involved, why would you think they would guarrantee, any promise you have to further education? Keep those papers you'll need them when this war is over with.

 

anyone who believes the us government is going to put 20,000 in their bank account are probably the same people stupid enough to join up in the first place.


joining up to fight a genuine menace to the free world, to safeguard themselves and their family from a true enemy is worthwhile.

problem is there hasn't been a true enemy for quite sometime, the western world is just attacking other countries to get their resources in the name of peace (war is peace).

i doubt if anyone will be shedding any tears for some mercenaries laying in a ditch somewhere after killing a few families for fun.

 

I think I'll continue to shed tears for the children that join only because they have no other options.

Assuming there's 8,000 insurgents (going by some of the estimates) and with the current rate of success being 10,000 troops to kill 22 Iraqi insurgents, than the solution to the problem is to send 3,636,364 more US troops into Iraq.

With the new $20,000 minimum sign up bonus to go over in the new Quick Shipper program, the US government would need to spend $72,727,280,000 (72.7 BILLION) for this new troop signup. And that's not even counting new equipment, training, food, etc...

 

Better yet, send me a message and let me refer you to a recruiter, in turn promoting me and giving me a tax-free $2,000 more.

While all you hippie losers are starving and begging for cash on the street, I'll be cruising 'round in my brand new Wrangler with a $1,000 ho in each seat, and then I'll be heading half the world away to blow shit up with super badass people. i think its possible there will be enough idiots will sign up. after all whats better living under a freeway or joining the military and taking your frustrations out on some ragheads?


my own understanding of the war is that certain parties intend to do away of an entire racial subsection of humanity. it is illegal to racially villfy people, it is totally legal to wipe them out to the last man.

they must have worked out from the germans that it was more convenient to just kill people in theýr own homes than ship them around the empire for extermination. cost wise it ýs cheaper to kill people in their own homes, the idea of concentration camps is to punish people for being of a certain racial or cultural sub section. the american army is no more than the aktion commandos that targetted jews and others.

you have to remember that some people like killing and raping people. i would say anyone who was mentally unstable would be hýghly suitable for integration into armed units to implement the final solution.

 

You'll be doing this at taxpayer's expense.

How many of you recruits ever actually receive those promises? I'd like to see a show os hands, if you make it back alive.

 

There are a bunch of loopholes and tough promises you have to upkeep and fulfill before you see anything.

And even the 10% who do see anything, usually only see some of it.

and of those 10%, maybe 10% actually get all that is coming to them, if they survive.

First thing first, to even be eligible, you have to put a 1500 down payment. and if you fail to complete all assignments, you get nothing and lose the deposit.

 

What I'm interested in is how many people buy into it. I think it's sick. I picture uncle sam laughing as he hands out fistfulls of cash to people who go off kill a puople of people they've never met, than die, and then he collects the cash back.

What are these peoples reasons? that 20,000$ will buy a damn nice coffin. I'd like to talk to a soldier, not to insult him or anything. I just wanna know what made them go over their
