They are so awesome but no one seems to listen to them. They are very trippy and wonderful. Anyone else listen to them?
I'm listening to them now, but for the first time, and it's too early to say if I like it or not. It's tranquil, sparse and melancholic, which I like, but it also seems a bit too unmelodic for my tastes.
I had their CD at one point... then I deleted it. I mean, I like indie, but it just sounded really bad to me.
It probably helps me to love them that I saw them live and they were one of the best things I've ever seen. Personally I'd have to say they are way more melodic than most things people listen to. It's funny how differently people hear things...
If you like grizzly bear check out animal collective.. they are awesome. in fact I think they played a few songs together, might be wrong though. but the members in animal collective have weird names, one calls himself panda bear. they had a show here in philly and sadly it was a 21+ venue
