Drink a lot of cranberry juice. Most of the stuff at the store is full of sweeteners and and other juices. Try to find a brand that is as pure cranberry juice as possible, or at the very least make sure it is the first ingredient.

Also if you have sex, urinate afterwards.

I live in cranberry country. Take my word for it, you can't drink straight cranberry juice. Got to at least cut it down with water.

But yes, cranberry juice is still the best for the urinary system.

However, if you have an STD infection, you have to address that sooner or later with a doctor.

Im the queen of UTI's i normally have 2 a month!!
Basically you need to uptake your fluid intake, so drink loads of water, drink cranberry juice but make sure its not somelike like the ocean spring i think its called because its full of sugar!!

Have you been checked for STD's as they dont help with kidney infections. Heres a few things to help ya with them . . .
    drink loads of water
avoid booze, tea and coffee - if you drink any of them make sure you drink the same amount in water, 1 pint of lager = 1 pint of water etc.
Avoid things with too much salt/sugar in
    wipe front to back
    pee before and after sex
dont hold urine in your bladder, pee when you need to pee

If it doesnt clear up in a few days go to your GP and get some antiboitics, there might be no reason at all you get them, it might just be one of them things.
    good luck x

Cystex is also an option... probably insufficient if you're well into a UTI, but early on it can sometimes help stop it. On top of numbing the discomfort, it contains Methenamine, which is an antibacterial that works only in urine (so it won't fight infections anywhere else). Works well to prevent UTIs, but may also help stop early ones.

Whats your diet like, sometimes certain foods can make urine smell different.

Pretty normal but I think it's from having sex over an dover awhile back and not....really....bathing after for a few days. I looked it up and seems like I might have bacteria?
