Okay, I've seen alot of people misinformed about cocaine, so I made this to pass on some (hopefully) correct knowledge. I welcome corrections. Straight Cocaine Hydrochloride would kill someone, so its cut down, sometimes up to half its own weight. So you might pay $50 for .5 of cocaine and receive .4 of cocaine and .4 of cut, so it looks big, but you're really just geting more weight through cut. Most good dealers will weight over to compinsate if they have some nasty shit. Most good dealers wont have nasty shit. If you want to try and smoke Cocaine Hcl, you can make snowcaps, or snowballs by geting Hashish oil, geting a rock of Cocaine Hcl (uncooked), and 'rolling' it in the oil, and smoking it in a regular cannabis pipe (or a pipe with brillo). If you want to cook Cocaine Hcl into Crack Cocaine, as a rock, get a large metal spoon, clean it, put you're powder in there, put in about half a table spoon of water, and 1 quarter of the amount of cocaine you put in, of Baking Soda. Heat the bottom of the spoon lightly, keeping the lighter moving, it will foam, and fizz for a minute, then after it starts to stop, drop a few drops of cold water into the spoon quickly, and then use a straight edged tool and scrape the oily looking substance to the dry part of the spoon, take it off and you have crack cocaine. Do it again to try and see if theres any left inside the soda. Theres microwave methods and lots of interesting ways too, so look around and you will become a pro alchemist. SMOKING CRACK There are a few ways to do this, one would be to make a sharp shooter pipe, you need a clean, useable, metal tube, maybe from the inside of a cannabis pipe, clean, and get a peice of stainless steel brillo and melt the plastic off of it, and make sure theres no stray metal chunks, as inhaling hot brillio can burst you're lung. So hold the lighter about 2 cm away from the actual crack after you place a tiny .2-.4 peice onto the brillio, it will melt in, this type of pipe is called Sharpshooter, and works pretty damn good, Hold the pip in the air straight up and down, and inhale as you light it once, hold the flame to the rock for about 2 seconds, then lower the pipe to level, and take one more puff, after lighting it for 2 seconds, then lower it towards theg round and take another hoot, cash it if you like and take it all. Yet it may also be used as a term refering to snorting lines with crushed morphine tablets (per say 15mg tablets), mixed with a amount of powder cocaine.
straight cocaine hcl won't kill someone, though it's obviously more potent than some that's been cut. For the most part, people cut substances for profit motives (except for methyl fentanyl aka "china white". it's so potent, it has to be cut to avoid mass overdoses). HCl salts are more stable than free bases ("free bases" are pure substances), so they're easier to transport and store without much degradation, and readily dissociate in water. the HCl salts have a much higher boiling point than free bases, because of the ionic bonding in the salt form; so much more heat would be needed to smoke an hcl as opposed to a free base.
are they called freebases because theyre the negative ion of the salt? or has it got nothing to do with being basic?
it's called the free base, because the compound is washed with an aqueous basic solution, then extracted with an appropriate solvent, which is then evaporated; but the end product may not necessarily be basic, depending on how well it was washed, and how much of the aqueous layer was absorbed in a drying agent. once it's recrystallized and pure, it should be neutral, to slightly basic
The main reason Cocaine was made into a HCl was to make it water soulble. Freebase Cocaine is not, therefore it can not be snorted. I think its just a waste of time personally, I could be saving alot of money on baking soda...
Good idea for a thread. (1). Straight Cocaine hydrochloride won't nessecarily kill someone, lots of people take the time to purify the coke they buy on the streets specifically so they have straight cocaine hydrochloride to take. And dealers cut coke to bulk it out as it is sold by weight, it strictly financial and has nothing to do with the worry for the end user od-ing. (2). Smoking hcl coke is a terrible waste of cocaine, and mixing it with hash oil won't effect that at all. (3). Mixing opiates and cocaine is not a good idea, the chances of you od-ing are far greater that with either drug when used alone. People still do it though, but its pretty stupid none the less.
