hey there! ummm i'm not new but i forgot how to post something so i'll do it here. i belong to a group that does community service at my school. today we volunteered at a food bank. it was awesome but everyone does that if any one out there has any ideas of what we could do to help or where i'd love to hear it. all the other members don't really care but i do so any ideas would be good! of course it has to be school appropiate. did i spell that right? so yeah thax in advance!
SummerEco, start a food bank at school. Ask all the students and faculty to contribute at least ONE can of food. That could help hundreds of hungry folks. In the spring/summer, find a place to start a community garden. I assume your in a city, where this would go over great. Does your school have a greenhouse/4H program? Takes lots of TLC and sweat equity. But the rewards are a wonderful bounty of natures harvest. You would need lots of steadfast volunteers for this to work tho. Start a lightly used clothing/shoes bank. These clothes/shoes could be given out to the homeless and poor in your community. Good luck with what ever you decide to volunteer on. And congrats for getting involved. Keep it up. Peaceful thoughts your way.... Farmout
