now only salvia I've ever had is that extract stuff you get out of headshops that costs a ton. I was checking online and it looks like you can get an ounce of salvia for $10 on ebay or w/e. Whats the diffrence between the extract and the shit on ebay? I want the strongest stuff but on ebay and most websites that sell the leaf or w/e it is dont really say how strong it is. I heard #x is just how potent it is compared to one leaf or w/e. Does that mean if I go w/ the $10 leaf stuff I'll have to smoke a ton more to get to the same experience as a few puffs of 10-15x extract?
Those sound like normal leaves or a weak extract. They aren't anywhere near as potent as other extracts you might find. Let's say you are looking at 10x extract: Well, there is 100 grams of leaves being extracted onto 10 grams of leaves. However, smoking plain leaves or weak extract does have interesting effects as well, it's just that they're not as strong as other extracts. I've found that I get too high before I can smoke enough for strong effects, but that's just my experience with it. On Ebay, they sell ounces of normal leaves usually, but sometimes they sell a weak extract which works better than the normal leaves, but doesn't give the really strong experience that is desired. I would go for the $10 an ounce stuff and see where it goes, it seems ok for a cheap salvia deal. If you want stronger effects, I'd suggest getting cheap extracts from its own website rather than toying around with Ebay stuff... If it does not have a ?x then it is not an extract and it is just plain leaves. However not all extracts are the same. One places 20x might be only as stong as somebody elses 10x.
I didn't say it wasn't an extract if it doesn't have an "X" value, but you can get much more confused if you don't know the Salvinorin-A levels. Good luck!
ok well I think im just going to pick up some 10x salvia from karma for 25 its pricy but I need something interesting to do friday nite haha. btw if for some reason they dont have 10x would it be alrite to go w/ 5x. Only shit I've smoked is 5x and that knocked me on my ass... I've only smoked it a few times too so is it safer to stick w/ the 5x or should I just buy the 10x and have an interesting time?
Simple answer to your question. If 5x knocks you on your ass and you get 10x but want to feel the same then smoke half as much. The extract you smoke is not as important as how much of that extract you smoke. Of course if smoking it bothers you then get a higher extract to inhale less smoke.
