Just an argument that I came up with to try and prove something to someone, I'd like to hear what you guys have to say about it. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Psychic ability isn't wrong, or evil. God doesn't hate it cause God doesn't really judge. Christianity especially, is not right because what they think is God and is right, really isn't. Witchcraft isn't evil or demonic, Satanism isn't evil or demonic, and the psychic force isn't evil or demonic. Having psychic ability and knowing how to use it, is nothing more than realizing your connection to the over all life force/universe (or god if you can't understand that). Everyone has it, whether you believe it or not, does not matter, because it IS there. Over the years, humanity has severed it's tie with the life force or life itself for whatever reason. Technology is replacing it. Technology and Science, isn't bad, but replacing the life force with a human made construct (artifact), is. Religion is wrong, but atleast it has the most basic thing we need to know. That there is something else. God is. But what religion and most people describe/depict God, is not right. God = Energy Energy = God Energy does not die, it transfers. Life = Death Growth = Decay Nothing = Everything Get what I'm trying to explain? What modern Science isn't able to explain or can't explain right now, is that, the Universe/Life force has no rules, has no limitations. It is, because it is. Is is, is. Is, is is, is. <---- prove that wrong. It's not possible, you cannot debate what IS. Life came about because of nothingness, however, in order for nothingness to even exist, nothing needed everything. It's not possible to explain that with the Science we know and have today, the Scientific formula cannot explain it, or prove it. This proves, that Science is not able to explain everything because Science has flaws, what IS does not. Which in turn proves that Science will not be able to prove that "God" exists or doesn't exist. The evidence IS there, Science as we know it, just CAN'T AND WON'T EVER be able to. Life is ever changing, it's a cycle. There is no "end", only change. Without death, there wouldn't be life, and without life there wouldn't be death, so to say that being dead is the end, is wrong.
There are but three spiritual paths. A good spiritual path, an evil spiritual path or neither. Whilst psychic powers may not in and of themselves be evil, they certainly can be. Example, using psychic ability or inner vision to determine which scratch ticket in a machine will prove profitable leans toward the darker side. So therefore although psychic ability may not in itself be evil, it most certainly can lead to it.
To be able to understand and "KNOW" everything, every possibility and path needs to be explored. For me, maybe not for others, I have such a Karmic balance, that I'm allowed to take risks, but still be able to balance out my Karma at the end of my life. That is why, you can't state that it is evil or good, it is either positive or negative. Karma does not judge, it is just what it is, either positive or negative - both have things that need to be learned to understand the whole of things.
Anyways, I'd just like to know if my theory is valid. I'm getting mixed responses from another forum (non-psychic) and it's interesting, as even people who are atheist realize it's valid, and people who are religious are questioning themselves that it might be time for a revelation, and than the really ignorant one's are attacking me, calling me names, insulting me, and my age. Which shows me, that maybe I am right.
I don't agree that there are three paths. I don't believe in "evil". And I don't believe that just because people choose not to pick a path they don't travel one anyway. Maybe the purpose of thier life this time around was meant to be so that they could learn a lesson about spirituality. I really think that arguing about religion (even from a debate standpoint) is kinda like slowly drilling a hole through your hand... lol. It's very painful and gets you nowhere and is for nothing other than your own amusement. I have friends who are catholic, old fashioned baptists, muslim, bhuddist, atheist, agnostics, etc. We rarely discuss religion, but often express out spiritual beliefs. They don't necessarily have to go and in hand. I think that saying they way someone believes is wrong will not get you very far... by changing the wording of that to "I feel.." ot "I think.." you'll get more response from people. Energy does not die, it transfers.... isnt that scientific theory already? A part of quantum physics?
The point is, I'm only 17, I have no fucking clue how to understand anything apart of quantum physics, I've only heard of it. This came from inside me without outside sources, it's for me to express my intellect. If it's already a theory, I didn't know that, but it helps me help understand myself better.
I agree with des10e's points. Bl4ck, another thing--if you're interested in philosphical reasoning, study up on rules of logical argument and rhetoric. Your discussion is interesting, and has lots of points I agree with, but in and of itself does not "prove" anything. Your argument is so fast-moving that it covers oodles of assumptions in a few jumps, and then bases later "conclusions" on these unproven assumptions. I don't even want to get into specifics about your argument--I think the real point is that philosophical arguments have never amounted to much, except to a handful of ivory-tower intellectuals. There's very little you can prove about the nature of the universe or the spirit by reasoning alone. What's important, I think, is experience--YOUR experience. That, in my opinion, is what life is about--cuz that's all life is, Bl4--it's just experience. You can argue and reason until you're blue in the face, but it doesn't amount to much unless it resonates with your own experience and the experience of the person you're talking to. There are mazes of experiential framework all around us--groups of people, and humans as a whole creating for themselves and their children a certain kind of reality--and it's all "maya"--the Hindu word for "illusion." Seeing that illusion is, I think, a worthwhile pursuit for somebody with your desire to know. Seems like you have a knack for it, but you need to delve deeper, you need to experience more, and your logic needs to become more careful and more rigorous. Most people's views of reality are based on assumptions that they "prove" (in their own minds) by arguments based on the very assumptions they think they're proving. The best way to see this clearly is to suffer from other people's circularly-proven realities--THEN the maya starts becoming very very clear. Ready to start suffering for knowledge?
I wasn't trying to be judgemental. I was giving my opinion. You have a great start above, but you do jump points as zengizmo points out. I would suggest a little light reading on quantum physics. You'll find it interesting. And yes, I do agree we are all made up of energy. It helps support my belief in reincarnation.
Thanks guys. My spiritual self has already told me that all I need to do is meditate, look inside myself, hear my inner voices, work things out, write down my points, learn how to express myself - only then will I be able to get my point across. All I need is to figure myself out and I'm set, as I've already had all the experience needed ( past-reincarnations), I found out I've been here since the creation of this "world/universe". I have a feeling this is my last reincarnation on this world.
LOL Okay then, Bl4. Well I'm looking forward to seeing what you have to say after you've learned to express yourself.
You need to provide evidence for your postulates. Such as God. Do you have evidence for the existance of God? No. Do you have evidence that God is equal to energy? No. Do you have evidence that a life-force exists? No. Basically, everything you mentioned are signs of mild insanity if a person believes in them.
I hate to sound like the next guy but, where's the logic and any factual back up to any of your ramble? The holes you punched in science need some filling in.
First of all, I am not talking about the typical "god", fuck, forget I even mentioned god, I was just using the term to help get my point across. So are you saying I'm insane because I thought this up? I do not believe it, it is just something that I figured out in my head. I'm asking you guys what you think, if I didn't care I wouldn't have asked. Ofcourse a life-force exists, how can a life-force not exist? We are alive right? There IS energy, right? Are you saying there is no such thing as energy? Karma has been proven to be true, am I not correct? Every action has a reaction, no matter how big or small, yes? When we die, does our energy not convert into something else? Tell me I'm wrong. Read this article http://www.thothweb.com/content-498.html
There are no facts except for what I believe to be facts in my ramble as I worked this out myself, without ANY outside influences, it came from inside me, I am not stating it as fact, I just want to know what people think of it and how I might be able to improve it.
