I have heard alot about this and was wondering what how it works. I know the sites are based in countries that dont hafta worry about getting in trouble for mailing, but as far as me-what can I do to avoid and unwanted hassles. Have heard of getting a PO box(but dont they need a street address anyway?), what about general delivery. Or is there really not a big worry of having them mailed straight to my house? I am just considering maybe ordering offline and was wondering what are the safest ways to handle myself in this matter.
There's no need to worry about this. A lot of seed companies will actually send the seeds in a stealth package. The ones I obtained from ABSeeds came in a package saying "Here are your photo negatives Mr.Macintyre!". They were inside this little plastic stealth tube and there was also a paper with directions to their business, but it said "A-B-Photos" instead! Just use websites with a stealth packaging feature, you pay more, but you don't get hassled! Good luck!
just noticed your post, you probably don't want to be posting the stealth methods of seedbanks... anywhere.
$300? Jesus Christ bro, use a european seed bank, it'll be less than a 1/3 of that for the same seeds. When I ordered AK it was $89, if I remember right. It's not that big of a deal I guess, but canadian seed banks always charge too much more for dutch genetics it seems.
I have ordered from bcbudonline.com five times and have never had any problem with delivery. I have had them shipped straight to my home..I know that it wasn't the smartest thing in the world to do but I did it anyway. The seed shipment was in a very stealthy envelope. So much so, that I had to look really hard just to find my seeds!! They also use encryption with ALL online transactions so security is first rate. Also, the customer service for bcbudonline is second to none. I ordered 20 seeds and of that 20, 11 were males. I sent an email to the customer service letting them know of my results. In about a week, I had 11 new seeds in the mail. I never asked them to rectify this they did it on their own!! Find another seed company that will do that and I'll be very surprised indeed. I hope that I have answered some of your questions and have quelled some of your fears. Good Luck and Happy Growing!!
It's not legal, but if you get caught nothing comes from it, just a letter from customs. The only countries that I'm 100% sure it's legal in are Holland, Spain and the UK.
