Distilling Marijuana

So, I have a basic pot still. I have a friend growing a couple plants.

My question is...If I take the leaf and stems from the plants and make a wash from them will the THC distill with the alcohol?

 

The temperatures at which distillation occurs would ruin any thc.

I'm not so sure about that, need what 70-90C for distillation? That wont do anything to the thc... a lighter doesn't.

 

I never go any higher then 92C...guess it's time for some experimenting.

have to wait a couple months for the plants to be done though

 

omg, when i read you said you had a basic pot still, i didnt think of a traditional pot still, so much as a "still for pot"...i was about to laugh hysterically and then i remembered what a pot still was :-X

oh well....i was amused for a minute at least. oh, i'm kinda stoned.

 

THC boils/vaporizes at 155-157 degrees Celsius (311-318 degrees F). The THC will be left in the mash at 92C.
