Greetings to all Hip Poets, from Geneva, Switzerland! I'm posting this thread in hopes that some of you on here might be interested in taking part in a little project me and some friends have going. Last year, in December, a couple of friends and I began publishing our own little zine entitled SMASH. In a few words, SMASH is a radical anti-authoritarian DIY zine that features an array of articles, interviews, artwork and poetry, and which is distributed for free on international high school campuses around Geneva. Our aim is to provide an alternative point of view to world problems and how to solve those problems among students of the international community, as well as to promote local or otherwise relatively unheard of musicians and other artists. Our moto is "A Celebration of Freedom, Art & Resistance!" As of now we have released 4 issues and our currently workin on the 5th which we hope to have finished by the first week of October. The reason I'm posting this is to see if anyone here is potentially interested in submitting any of their work and get themselves read by a few more people, maybe even influence a few minds... If you're interested, you can just reply to this thread, or else send us an email at smash.geneva@gmail.com with your submission You can also check out are site at http://smashonline.blogspot.com where you can read our manifesto as well as a couple articles from past issues. As of yet we haven't included any of our past poetry, but at least you can see what we're about. + The magazine is distributed for free, so it's not like we're making money of your work. And we don't censor anything regardless of content Anyway, hope some of you will be interested Peace out!
