This letter was written in a local newspaper about the rescent lottery winner's religion... Talk about ignorance...

Lottery winner is an instrument of Satan

To The Daily: I read with interest James L. Evans’ column about praying for the lottery. He says he believes God doesn’t influence the outcomes of such things as lotteries and sports events.

Maybe so or maybe not, but it depends upon the intention behind the prayer. It is more important that Mr. Evans is blinded to the fact that the winner is an instrument of the devil.

One who practices witchcraft is diametrically opposed to the will of God. The enemy will supply whatever means is necessary to help his blind minions on Earth accomplish his purpose: to destroy those who are of God. The winner has agreed to sell his soul to the devil by becoming a full-time teacher of Wicca. Shameful, simply shameful.

I pray for this man’s soul that it will not be eternally lost and so should your readers.

I almost feel sorry for them. They are obviously very insecure in their own faith to see any diversity as a terrifying threat, and in league with a cosmic bogeyman.

You'd think that being omnipotent and all that if God really minded about non-christians that he'd do something about them, like I don't know inflict a giant flood or some plagues. *shrug*

Whats even better is how my history PROFESSOR, said the other day that the germanic tribes were animists, and animism means you worship animals, thats all he said about them, but we spent a week on Xtianity.
