Love and understanding doesn't include taking shit from punk kids who talk shit about people for their own shitty personal humor. If it was supposed to be funny the first time thats one thing but the same joke repeated over and over ect... starts to become useless flameing and mean-spirited. Take it how you will. You say I'm attacking you personally but everytime you and your "crew" do this shit it attacks me personally.
Fun would be hurricane Ivan taking a more westward direction..... OK not really. I don't really wish harm on innocent humans, only SirRubin
We don't get together every morning and co-ordinate our ensembles and method of interacting with people. Just because someone espouses the political ideals of the '60s/enjoys the music of the era/got lost on the way to The Fascist Forums, or whatever reason we all happen to have to have joined these forums does not necessarily mean that they fit in with the cartoon image of the 'hippie'. I'd suggest that rather than trying to mould others to your notion of the ideal personality, you should concentrate on improving yourself according to your notion. Of course, I'm trying to mould you to my notion of the ideal way to handle conflict, so I'll just leave it at that. Also that this isn't a committed relationship. If you don’t enjoy the company, just stop viewing the site. I hear the folks over at the Fascist Forums are charming.
Now who was it that couldn't handle a little sarcasm? It looks like its not just us "hippies" that can't take a "joke". Get over yourselves. Its worn out man.
Saying 'I hope you get killed by a hurricane' isn't sarcasm... at least learn what the word means before you toss it around. Furthermore, I don't see why this is still an issue. I never attacked you personally, I attacked a dead fad... if you think you're still a part of that fad, whatever... but you're just taking this shit way too seriously. Go outside, cry about if you need to, and feel free to come back once you've found something more pertinent to whine about.
I'm sorry but at 19 years old, I hardly see where one is an authority on a culture, you only know about from books and movies. I grew up at the Freedom Farm in California. It wasn't about tye-dye or drugs and had nothing to do with "notion's". It was a peace-loving community of like minded people who didn't believe that how much you made or how expensive your car is, makes you a "successful" human being. We simply did not want to be a part of the social brainwashing, the marketing of a human race. The ad companies put out million$ ads for $100 jeans so then kids think they have to have those jeans to fit in and the parent has to work twice as hard to afford the jeans while someone somewhere is getting filthy rich. We have 40,000 starving kids in the USA. But spent 6 billion on a luxury cruiser!???!!!! It's about standing up for what you believe in and not being part of the mind fuck game!
I grew up on a farm, we used to milk cats there. You can milk just about anything with nipples Want to milk me?
Do not misunderstand me. I was not offended by your comment, I was just suprised by how un-hippish it was, especially after you made a thread about how much you love everyone. I personally think that a person needs to be truly weak minded to actually get offended on the internet.
Relax everybody just needs to relax and calm down a bit all this negativity isn't doing anyone any good if you disagree with something that is said, yes you can attack the person who said it, or you could just forget about it its just a forum on the internet dont take things so personally and what is so wrong with being a hippie if you're a hippie for the right reasons if people want to call me a hippie rock on just dont stereotype
First of all I never said "I hope you get killed in a hurricane", and second of all IT WAS A JOKE. What about "Burn hippie burn"? Is that sarcasm? ....and to the person who left me this one: What's with you people?09-12-2004 12:06 AMDie Never bitches! You could never be so lucky.
The fuck...? That wasn't even vaugly coherent. I may not be a 60's culture connoisseur but I am old enough to recognise a fad as a fad, even if the fadsters throw around phrases about non-conformity. Hippiedom is an antiquated fad.
