To get a natrual opiate-like high without actually taking narcotics. I have given up on pills because they are so hard to get. But how can I have a constant feeling of euphoria and that warm fuzzy feeling without actually taking a drug? I know most people will say runner's high or something like that but I mean something that will give me the effects for like 6 hrs. or something. Any advice?

your asking for too much, maybe just keep doing opiates cause theres no other way to get that high.

 

Thers no point in taking opiates. you should just learn to enjoy the subtle pleasures of life. You know that feeling when you wake up in the morning, and you have to get up and get ready for school, but your so nice and warm and cozy in your bed that you dont want to get up... That is like an opiate high.

Dude, imagine this: you wake up, pop a 10-30mg of Oxycodone (depending on tolerance), and then lay there, feeling blissful, warm, and like everything in the world has just fallen into place. You fall in and out of a dreamy, sleepy daze for a few hours until you wake up with a clear head and go about your day.

Try that just once and trust me, you'll know why the OP wants to find something that ACTUALLY mimics an opiate high rather than your rather cliche "cozy in bed feeling".

I'm not mocking you man, I'm just saying that if you'd ever experienced a true opiate high then you wouldn't be saying "There is no point in taking opiates".

This is an OPIATE forum. So clearly, we thing there IS a point to taking opiates.

To the OP: If you are looking for something that mimics an opiate high, you're sort of out of luck. If Benzo's are more readily available to you, you might try those, although they really aren't the same, and if you can't come by those, the only natural thing that is even in the vacinity in my opinion is Kava. Buy some powdered root from Kona Kava Farm online and mix up a strong brew then gulp it down. No euphoria, but you get a little bit of that warm, comfy feeling, and you relax.

Hope you find a supply of pills soon, there really isn't any good substitute.

Wow I never knew my post would have attracted such criticism.
Ok, ignore the part when I said thers no point taking opiates, I oversimplified my personal opinion, and thinking about it now I regret posting that first sentence.
The rest of my statement I stand by.
Yes I have had experiences with codeine- even though it is a weak opiate, I still got to the point where my arms were too heavy to move, I sat on the couch with a huge grin on my face, feeling warm and euphoric.
I dont know about you but this is similar to how I feel when waking up in the morning- warm, fuzzy, sedated, heavy limbs, happy. Its subtle, but very enjoyable, and if you cant take pleasue in something as simple as that- then I feel sorry for you.
In relation to the OP, I believe they are looking for a NATURAL high- WITHOUT taking drugs, so why are you telling him to take benzos and kava?

 

Note how he says here "narcotics" not just drugs in general. He does say a sentance later that he's looking for a natural way, but Kava is CERTAINLY a natural way, and it seems to me he's more concerned with the high than with its source - He seems to have given up on opiates not because he is worried about damaging his body, but because they are "too hard to get".

Just my interpretation. And please, I didn't mean to be critical, so don't take what I said as intending any insult. I just wanted to be clear that being in a hypnopompic state (as you are in the process of waking) is not the same as having opiate molecules bind to the receptors in your synapses.

It just seemed to me from your post that you hadn't taken any opiate based drug before and thus were making an unfounded comparison.

I think the origonal poster could have worded his post a little better, are you looking for a natural high without taking drugs, or are you looking for a natural drug to give a similar high?

 

Yeah that bed feeling is alot better after you have smoked as much weed as you can handle, and see how long you can stay awake smoking bud until you get really tired and burnt out. Then the bed is so amazingly comfortable and also if you take a really long, really hot shower it makes it even more euphoric.

 

Im suprised that noone has mentioned that nasty bitter drink ill call opium tea. Its easy enough to make and enough research for a few different methods.
