Last night I had a dream that something had penetrated into my shoulder and in the dream I really felt the pain. Has this happened to anyone here? What could cause this? Maybe something causes the pain while you're asleep, like punching yourself while sleeping or something. *Shrugs*

I once had a dream that I was raped, and woke up in pain as if it had really happened.

    hi detailbyegones

To dream that you have been raped, suggests a sadistic expression of sexual desire. You may be expressing an unconscious desire to be violated, conquered, or forced into forbidden territory. It also indicates vengeful feelings toward the opposite sex. Alternatively, it suggests that you are feeling violated in some way. Something or someone is jeopardizing your self-esteem and emotional well-being. Dreams of rape are also common for those who were actually raped in their waking life.

    hi On the schiz,

To dream that you are in pain, signifies that you are being too hard on yourself with regards to a situation that was out of your control. It may also be a true reflection of real pain that exists somewhere in your body. Dreams can reveal and warn about health problems.

To dream that you are inflicting pain to yourself, indicates that you are experiencing some overwhelming turmoil or problems in your waking life. You are trying to disconnect yourself from your reality by concentrating on the pain that you inflicted to yourself.

Did you wake up with a sore neck or shoulder? This may indicate that you didn't sleep well.
