I've just started a habitat conservation course, well we start the actual lessons monday and i can't wait.

I did AS at college last year and i got ABBBD in maths, biology, chemistry and psychology but i found it too boring to continue. I'm just really happy with this new course, it looks really fun looking after deer and woods and stuff. Even though we have to wear green boiler suits :D

What are other people doing and are you enjoying it so far?

Just started doing my AS levels at college doing Art, History, Philosophy and Religious studies

Philo. is really hard at the moment, but i think it's just because i don't like the teacher and it's harder to conentrate.
And one of my philo lessons is Religious Philosophy which seems identical to RS. And not only that, I have my RS teacher teaching me and I have the same room for both lessons. So confusing.

But appart from that, LOVE IT.
No more english/maths/sciences for me ever ever ever. thank god.

I am what you could politely call a "mature" student.

I'm doing an NVQ in Land Based Operations with the BTCV (Brititsh Trust for Conservation Volunteers), hoping to get into some kind of outdoor work when I finish.

I'm enjoying it a lot, doing things like constructing fencing and tree felling. There's a good mix of people on the course, including plenty of characters, so it's certainly never boring.

I do feel sorry for the kids starting uni these days, they're signing up for a big millstone of debt around their necks that will be with them for years.

Oh one of our units is archaeology, we have this crazy teacher with dreads and lots of piercings who lives on a canal boat and is obsessed with tea when sober
