I got a 360 and I love it to bits... But, now I don't like them at all! After the first 2 weeks of having one, it began to stractch huge rings around disks and it lead to the ruining of 2 of my games! Screw you Microsoft for making all your consoles so cheap! Sorry for my little rant, hehe:) !

Man, mine busted within a couple of months. Had to send it in, but I got a new one and a month free on Live. That was pretty sweet.

Yeah if half these idiots just sent it back for a new one then they wouldnt be spending so much of their parents' money.

It's called a warranty, it's there in case it breaks... If anyone had half a brain they'd register a warranty on anything electronic that costs 400 bucks and is mass produced.

And I've had more problems with my ps2 and psone than any other system i have ever owned. I've had numerous ps2's and they cost wayyy too much because everything is sold separately for a ridiculous price. They've scratched rings in MY games, too.

No matter what I've ever done to my xbox (drop it, spill drinks on it, open it up and mod it) it's never fucked up. The fact that I had spent 200 bucks on my xbox and probably around 900 for ps2's, I must say that xbox is the winner.

I used to be a ps2-fan, too. But then I woke up.

    lol

yea you really have no right to complain if u dont register for your warantee, electronic devices arent what they used to be in terms of reliability

did u ever hear anyone ever having a broken N64 or SNES?

new systems are just too much like computers running too much through processors

i had 1 ps1, and one ps2, now i have one ps3 which will last till i get a ps4. 33% dude, 33&. if i wanted to wait months and months to have something finally work, id turn gay ok. my ps3, i bought it, opened it up- and was playing online in 2 hours time (had to tune my tv, go have a few beers to celebrate etc) free online, free home, free demos and videos, great graphical capability games 0.3% failure rate, silent unlike microwave box, sleek and wireless, shiny and sexy - not covered in holes, most comfortable joystick ever made. ps3 will rule. at the start u always need a few AAA+ games to make a console, for any in the unknown check out mgs 4, killzone2, gt5, unreal tournament, haze, home and new halflifes. ofcourse 2 of these series are going multi, but only 1 console is close to the unbeteable pc perfection, and its sony's creation.

    60gb ps3, 32inch bravia = <3

    ^ haha the PS3 is "silent" ?

the main beef everyone on avsforum.com [the largest home audio/video forum on the net] is the PS3 is too loud to watch movies on because during quiet scenes u can hear it, which i totally agree with as it makes an odd humming when warming up discs

you can try to backup the PS3 all you want, but in the end the Wii is still way ahead in terms of units sold, and the wii is not an amazing gaming system

imo if the PS3 did not have a blu ray player, sales would be absolutely horrific right now

I have had my 360 ever since they came out and i have never had any problems. There is a huge variety of games on the 360 unlike the ps3 which costs more. Xbox wins.

well technicaly the 360 costs more

    HD dvd £99.99
    subscription £40 pa
    wireless pad charger
    and depending on system
    headset
    hard drive £129
    wireless adaptor £50

although out of the box it is way cheaper than the ps3 though

but long term depending on the user xbox 360 is more expensive

DJ is right they dont make consoles/electronics as they used to always get warranty and keep you receipt.

the only problem i had is with my ps2 door jamming i had to get a fliptop because of it.

A friend of mine got the red ring of death, but he still had his Best Buy warantee. Instead of doing the free-repair thing at Microsoft, he just exchanged the whole thing at BB. They didn't have any of the original 360's so he got a free upgrade to an elite. Goes to show how useful a retailer warantee can be.

Don't move your console while its on? It only burns the disk when you move it when its on.

too bad none of the games even put out at true 1080 yet :p not to mention I somewhat doubt you own a 64 inch plasma which isnt capable of 1080p...

and really PS3 doesnt PWN anything, i now own both systems and the 360 is WAYYY ahead in gaming, not to metion alot of computer games are ported directly to the 360 while the PS3 is left in the dust

    Exactly!

all you do is use your fuckin brain, buy your 360 from a big box store, and there is NO wait to have it replaced when you get the RROD, I had to pay a WHOPPING 40$ extra for 2 years full coverage warantee

in other words, if my 360 ever gets the RROD, i bring it into bestbuy, hand them the dead console, and within minutes i'm walking out of the store with a brand new one. You have no right to complain if you were stupid enough to buy from a store that does not offer a direct exchange warantee.
