Up in Arms

We get crazy and fight
Police sirens in the distance
The basis of your life is
A lie
And we are ageless
Broken bottle, dental floss
Much can be used as
A weapon
And today we are up in arms
Clawing at our faces
To rip off the masks.

I just wrote this because my grandmother used the expression up in arms and it created an idea. Let me know what you think.
