It's absolutely pouring down here. Torrential. But there is a spectacular lightning show which sort of makes it all worth while.

Colorado is a brisk 73 degrees and warming up. Yesterday the high was about 67, and it felt like fall.

This morning i saw some leaves on my maple tree starting to shine their fall colors...

before long it will be Winter!

no, no , both the septic tanks on the property are fine.I am talking about a outhouse.
Although we have indoor plumbing in the shack,theres something magical about gettin up an walkin to the outhouse on a cold winters mornin an takin a big ole steamin shit.. wouldnt you agree???

Today here is simply sublime. I gots B.B. King tellin' it about a girl named Luccile, the windows are all open and there is a absolutley golden breeze running through my house! It rained all night and stayed dark until around eleven when I got up, lol, now the temps in the low 70's and the suns a shinin'! Everyone is out playing and I have the place to my self and it's all clean and we just got some hairy nugz and I am about to go nestle out in a comfy chair and enjoy the day and read a bit before my friends bring their baby over it's so much fun watching other peoples weeones. I am gonna just love being a grandma some day!

 

its cold here, our gas is off, so we dont have any heat, and its pouring rain . blah,. im in missouri, the tornado state.

Beautiful day. I'm watching a local access program on....apples. I'll be doing stuff around the house then might go out to an outdoor chalk-art festival in the afternoon.

It's pretty warm here. Didn't do much when we got up, went into town very briefly to stock up on caffeine, nicotine, and chocolate, and then came back home and dug a hole. Our association served us with papers last week that state if we don't get our cars out of sight of the road, they're going to take them, so we're slowly working on a fence, but gave up for the time being due to lack of post hole diggers.

 

Mama Nature has brought us very pleasant weather the past few days. I'm going sailing.

we went for a long drive up into the mountains and we saw a moose. it was a GORGEOUS day. the girls threw rocks in a little lake, there were gorgeous men EVERYWHERE, and the scenery was breathtaking.

 

I saw a deer the other day when I was mountain biking along a path through the woods. It held it ground for a lot longer than I expected before bolting off.
