Ever lived in, rode in, or slept in a Westfalia?

Has anyone lived in, rode in, or slept a Westfalia or VW camper van? Where, When, and How?


I slept in one once at a BBQ iggy: festival where we were competing at. It was either Charlotte, NC or King's Mtn., NC. I've thought about getting me one for family camping or just traveling.

Yeah they are cool, in BC I joined sometimes Thea and Josh with their 3 big baddass dogs without being all stuck up all in family.

 

i slept in one before. theyre pretty nice

 

I've ridden in one a little, and in a VW bus a lot. The camper is heavier so it rides smoother, but it is even slower than the regular bus in hilly country. I don't mind slow so that wouldn't matter to me.

 

Went with my grandparents to FL in one. Stayed in a big grass parking lot for blue hairs. Had a blast. I love old people, so many incredible stories to tell!

 

Some old hippie dude gave me a ride up a mountain in one once.
