It seems the Chinese gov has found a way to kill us Americans of without firing a shot. They're doing it silently. They are doing it in the most hanious way.. they are killing our children with Lead in their toys. They're killing us with toothpaste and they hate us so bad they are killing our pets too.

I do not hear of poisonings in other countries from chinese products,. So is this just happening in America?!? And who's watching the store while all this death is going on.. all these kids dying.

Can we allow these top companies, that btw we made rich as consumers, they now take our jobs and send them overseas saving them billions of dollars and putting Americans out of work.. selling us out to murders.. for monitary gain.

Is our government so stupid (er did I really ask that) that they can't see the plan the Chinese has for us. To wipe us off the planet.. killing our babies first so there will not be any to reproduce..

How can we as consumers allow this to continue, how is it that Chineses products still dominate or stores. Why are Americans still buying products from CHINIA. They are laughing in our faces as they empty our nations banks.

I PROTEST!!!! I refuse to buy a single item that was made in Chinia.. In fact you may see my name in the news soon.. I have had enough!! The next time I go to Wal-Mart it will not be for shopping.. I am going to go in and start breaking everything that has a Chinese stamp on it. I encourage Everyone to do the same.

For those of you without the courage, just don't buy chinese.. We have got to make a stand before one more child dies. It could be your child or grandchild, brother, sister, neice or nephew.. so who is to blame... we are for patronizing the stores that carry chinese products!!

I am not willing to sacrifice my kids so these companies can get richer. This is just another fine example of how concerned the american government is for it's ppl.

This brings out the Warrior Spirit in me. The Spirit that Rains Fire over injustice and greed. I am outraged, inraged, upraged and down right mad!!

What as the targets of this mass murder are we going to stand the fuck up and do something. When are we going to grow a backbone. So what if american products cost 1 buck more the the chinese products.. it will keep our ppl in jobs.. it will save our kids from poisonings.. it will save our economy.. it's up to us to force the issue.. we are the ones that can stop it.. it is obvious that our govrenment is too busy making money to care.

Well that is what is on my mind these days. Is anyone else fed up?!?

That is what I was wondering Southernman.. what a horror.. I know what it is like to lose a child.. my heart gose out to anyone experiencing the loss of a child.

China is out to distroy us.. they are.. no one can convince me otherwise. I have known it since I was a child growing up around the table where it was a topic of conversation... if it is our destiny to fall, it will be by China's hands.

Cripes. I don't know where to start answering this...Maybe by saying that my gorgeous granddaughter was made in China by Chinese people? How paranoia, racial hatred and violence are going to help this situation is beyond my ability to understand.

I tend to think that the problem with the defective Chinese products, at least to some extent, lies in the need for many Americans to buy, buy, buy, without any thought for quality or sustainability. The Chinese factories are set up to fill this need we westerners seem to have, and we just keep buying, buying, buying. I don't feel that it has to do with the Chinese trying to kill us, it has to do with our desire to have lots of stuff. The quality goes down, quality controls go out the window (in china and elsewhere), and we Americans are stuck with tainted pet food, toys with lead paint, etc. Of course the Chinese have some responsibility in this; there needs to be more oversight and control over what comes out of China and is sold in American stores, but Americans overall need to think about consuming less, buying quality, and demanding that companies that make our goods be accountable for their manufacturing/growing (as in the case of food) processes.

Buying more American made goods may be a good place to start. Or making our children toys by hand, when possible (I know this may be hard for some very busy parents and famillies)...living the good simple life without a lot of stuff...of course, in saying this in this forum, I'm kinda preaching to the choir, aren't I? ;) But, if more Americans were to follow this rule of thumb, cheap goods from any country would be in less demand, and we would have, I believe, goods that lasted longer, and provided more joy in the long run...

    Just my two cents... :)

It has nothing to do with paranoia.. and I am not racist... and I'm not talking about the ppl themselves, but the lack of care given in the proscesses they use.. I am also concerned about the chinese ppl that are running these paint sprayers and what happens to them.. so don't think I'm attacking your child. Good Grief.

I don't believe I mentioned becoming violent or starting a war.. I just said we should boycott their products.. the radical part of my statement may have been better put in the politcial forum.. perhaps I know more about what is going on with Chinia then you do Bird.. You took it a little to personaly.

Going into a store and proceeding to destroy every item made in China sounds fairly violent to me. What responsibility will you own for frightening the children in the toy department? Scaring the shit out of their parents? How do you plan to react when the security guards order you to stop? Will you require them to use physical force? Do you plan to go to jail quietly? If you're put in a psych hospital, will you take that calmly?

Apart from the physical and psychological harm your plan will do to others, no one can carry on like that and not be doing serious psychic damage to themselves in the process. Doesn't sound peaceful and loving to me.

I said nothing about my child--I referred to my granddaughter. My earlier post consisted of only four sentences. If you're going to comment on it, you might actually read it first. And yes, your original post sounded very hateful to me, and I take hatred personally in the sense that I do what I can to promote its opposite. I know a little bit about China, but I don't claim to be an expert. I am quite positive, however, that the Chinese government is not trying to kill Americans and their pets.

I suppose your right Brid, I am certainly no Expert either.. I'll sit over here and hide in the corner while kids are dying.. I sure don't want to frighten anyone..

I know we should just let the FDA take care of things.. you know just be a sheeple and just let the government do it's job, huh.. yea your right.. but how long has this been going on over a year and how many more ppl must die before the two governments do their jobs... it's hard for me to sit idlely by and say nothing.. I may say it wrong but I at least say something.. I hope your *GRANDCHILD* doesn't have to worry about lead poisoning in Chinia.. ohh wait, it's world wide.. I wonder if they buy the same toys for their children in Chinia as they ship to us and other pro americain countries. But we will never know bc they wont let us visit their factories or inspect their goods before they are shipped out to us.

Your just taking a word and trying to make a big deal outta it.. chill out. My beef is with the Government, If You read my first post, the first sentence is addressing the Government. I don't recall saying I was going to go into the toy isle.. I would rather you not add words that I did not say when you attack my posts. It ain't cool

Sus makes a lot of sence.. it is the consumers that are the one who create the demand.. but most americans trust their stores/inspectors, ect to keep harmful products off our shelves...

I can help but feel overprotective, when it is targeted at our kids, all these cheap brightly painted posion toys eye level with our kids, to touch and put in their mouths or wear a piece of play Lead jewlery right against their skin. I know that China knows that lead is posion, deadly posion. It is nieve to think otherwise.

If all these posionings are going on with unrelated products..the pet food, the tooth paste the toys.. all different markets what conclussion is to be drawn. I have a kennel and lost two puppies to bad dogfood. If it was my child/grandchild I would have went balistic.

Untill something tragic happens to some ppl they will tend to sit back doing nothing and critize when someone gets fed up and makes a noise.

My posts were not to flame the ppl of china. I don't think it was written to sound that way.

You can't go through life thnking it's all lavender and roses. Question Authority.

My question was about boycoting imports from china. I am interested to know what others think we should do. It was not a personal attack on anyone.

I don't think it's paranoria.. I'm pissed, not paranoid.. it makes me mad not scared.. is that me being paranoid or is that me wanting the posionings to stop, to the point where I could not look at myself and be who I am and just sit by and say, do nothing.

I don't want to eat or feed my kids what is swept under the rug.. yuck!! ppl need to wake up and take their head out of the sand.. listen to the stream.. watch for the signs... again.. why would they be making teachers learn/teach chinese?!?

Look at Russia and Korea.. who is backing them.. ahhh.. is it China.. why yes it is.. two out of the three refuse the US entry to inspect the goods they ship out to us.. they denigh WMDs, or fluant their nucular capabilities in our face and denigh us inspection of those facilities..

well whatever you want to believe is your destiny.. as mine is mine..I choose to be prepared for when it does come down.. from whatever source, knowledge/information is meant to be shared.. not hoarded.. that's how religion got so corrupt.. horders of the Truth. the Truth, due to all human life.

That's all I got to say..

Wrong target! It's not the Chinese people - they are slaves to the American corporations who are over there creating the cheapest products possible and milking their own people. Our government supports the corporations at the health and welfare of its own citizens. I have been studying and networking about our food - Corporate Ag has taken over food production, booted out the small farmer, decreased the vitality of the food, use slave labor, etc. I think the solution is to support local production of as much goods as we possibly can - Think Global/Act Local.

On the positive side, people's awareness of these defective products made possible thru the normal media is really cool. I see more and more people feeling as you do - boycott Chinese products. Some people on this planet are really asleep and need the old 2x4 up the side of the head before they go "wow, that's really fucked up" :) It can be frustrating for those of us already hip.

I got out of activism when my guidance told me that in order to have an enemy to fight you must first create them. That really knocked me for a loop. I used to run a politicial network online - that killed it :) So I now believe that instead of giving our power to the Dark Force, we should focus on empowered people building a better world and just let the Roman Empire fall of its own accord. I see signs of this happening every day as more and more people wake up. I don't believe I would be on the planet at this time if this were not so. Years ago when questioning my sanity for choosing to incarnate here, I thought "I'm either masochistic or I'm on a mission". I chose to be "on mission" :)
