I live on the East coast around New York, and North Carolina, and I have a few questions as well as would love to be enlightened with a 1-10 scale of constructive criticism on how I handled outdoor growing for my favorite strain.

1st medium: Started out by spreading 7 seeds [sea of green style] around Mid-March to Mid-April. Grew 7 plants of different size averaged at 2-5 inches tall in a 3.5 gallon pot using recycled Miracle Grow potting mix that had been treated with pete moss and a few other fertilizers in the past year. Recycled the soil and sprouted them until they got root bound. Ceased to grow after 4 inches so was then transplanted each seperately into:

2nd medium: Which was a fresh Miracle Grow potting soil in small pots which sat in a oven tray to maintain a constant moisture even if the water escaped too quickly for the plants roots to get the h20. At this point they grew up a foot or so tall, and had been split a few times, and the tops were pinched in order to "Top" the plant; basically so it's not top-heavy, and to start bushing the plant out. At this point it showed signs of male flowering, yet no female pistols are showing yet, so the indefinite males are eliminated, and the rest are transplanted for the final time.

3rd and final medium: Spread pots around to eliminate all males; considering all my males flowered before any sign of early budding occured for female activity. The other plants; which had not done anything, had to be females and turned out I was right. The 3rd and final medium was each plant pulled out of the small pots with the pluggs still on them planted into Hyponex top soil. So the females in the 5-gallon buckets which have 4 drilled holes to irrigate h20 properly grew until the buds started to form [after the white hairs and the green pistols. Somewhere between the early stage, and before it started to form the un-ripe bud I used a tablespoon for each 5 gallon bucket [which is a weak batch] of controlled-release 14-14-14 three-month all-purpose plant food [Good or Bad?] Finally I want to start flushing the fertilizer to get the harmful chemicals that might kill off my plant or make it smell, taste, look bad. [Still with me? Have I gone the right way; or the wrong way?] The buds smell piney, but it's also got a weird banana smell almost smells like un-ripe bananas; or even such a dank smell that it almost smells like feces [which I'm thinking maybe the fertilizer did that or it's just not ready yet.

Please rate me 1-10 based on how it was grown, how it will turn out, and any suggestions that are warmly welcomed.. Thanks for your help guys, I want to know that if my plant might be fucked, how I can fix it before the bud's are matured!!

You're a hell of a gardener. A lot of what you're doing isn't according to most grow books, but it sounds fine, and most importantly your crop is doing well. Sometimes when you have a feel for plants you know when to add and when to hold back on the nutes without strictly following some recipe(when in doubt, HOLD BACK). Yeah, flush with straight water for 2 weeks. I don't have a clue about the banana smell. Pics?
