Did anyone ever go to McDonalds and quote "Two all beef paties, special sauce, lettuce, cheeze, pickles, and onions on a sesame seed bun" to get a free Big Mac. Peace and Love!!!
i'm a vegetarian but I'll go to Burger King and say "can i have two real vegetarian burgers, no tomatoes extra pickles on a nice bun" lets see if it works if it doesn't then at least the people around me will freak! hahaha
Thinking along the lines of vegetarianism. Just not sure I can do it. Maybe only meat once a week to see how it goes. Have you always been a veggie or did you start somewhere along the path of your life?
you should give it a try. it's really great, you're not eating fellow creatures and it's oh so very healthy for you! it's really a lot easier than most people think. and well i've always wanted to be a veg head but my parents didn't exactly approve. but now that i am my own person, i've decided to not eat meat. they kinda still don't really agree but they don't say anything anymore. oh and it's been like half a year now. and as long as everything goes good i'll continue thanks for taking an interest!!
I only have a couple of months and I wasnt for the same reasons as SummerEco. I dont miss eating meat at all, it's like I never ate it before. I dont even think about it. Also there are so many fun things you can eat and meatless cooking is so much fun
There were a lot of rumors back in the 70s about supposedly getting free big macs by reciting the slogan to radio stations. Youtube has some of those 70s 'two all beef patties...' commercials. They have an old 70s McD commercial with jet skis that look just like snowmobiles with the two front skis. Old stuff. .
I think the time for the free big macs is over, may by 30yrs or so. It did work back in the 70s though. I got free ones back then. The other day I went by a McDonalds b/c I had coupons for two free chicken sandwiches. That is all I got and they gave me coupons for two free coffees b/c they said they were closing that afternoon to put in lata machines and the coupons were for my inconvience. Some things in life are still free.
From a 70s commercial about the Big Mac. Judging by the style of the jet skis and cars, I'm guessing mid 70s. Jet skis actually had skis back then. .
i remember the add two all beef et c. replaced, and why it did. the previous add had been "chainge back from your dollar"! =^^= .../\...
I was watching tv the other evening and there was the big mac commerical only now it has a 21st century take, with breakdancing and more modern stuff, however there is no longer the offer of a free one for saying the jingle. Oh, for the good ole days.
