Actually Nintendo makes a ridiculous profit on the Wii. They are making nearly 100 bucks for every Wii sold. As for your claims about 360 sucking: Bioshock Mass Effect Assassin's Creed (PS3 gets this too) Devil May Cry 4 (PS3 gets this too) Beautiful Katamari Call of Duty 4 (PS3 gets this too) with the rumor that Konami is going to be porting MGS4 within a year after the PS3 version's release. Fanboyism is a terrible thing, there are alot of bad games for both systems. The PS3 has potential, sony isn't playing their cards right. To say that either of them sucks would be lying however.
PS3 games are also rediculously expensive, I bought 2 copies of NHL08 today, one for myself and one for my friend, my first PS3 games the total? 158$ stupid, and I thought Wii games were expensive
K, after playing both NHL08, Madden08, and NHL2K8 today I have to say i'm utterly disgusted with the PS3 HOW THE FUCK CAN THEY PROMOTE THIS FUCKING LEMON?!?! this isnt a hit to you mr.greenxx, i know u love it and thats fine but i really cannot belive this stupid 600$ pile of lemon merangue pie, absolutely no franchise games available on release, for a 600$ computer it cant even play these 720p games smoothly, NHL08 and Madden08 are both choppy at times, they were completely released way too early and are disgusting in terms of new gen games no 1080p support for anything besides NBA07, Blu-ray movies like the games are rediculously over-priced simple [and essential] features are over-looked such as mass transfer of media from storage mediums to the PS3's hard drive, playlists, visualizer controls,divx support, CHARGING OF CONTROLLERS WHEN THE SYSTEM IS IN STANDBY the cost of it wasnt really a problem for me as simply a blu ray player, but i think it's horrendous that u have to spend that amount of money for somthing which does/impresses so little.
well sport games that are redone each year esp ones by ea arent exactly something consoles boast about.
The Madden series is one of the top sellers for any system, and they cant make it so that the animations are smooth? i think thats a fucking joke also from what i'm hearing both NHL08 and Madden08 for PS3 run at 20FPS, while the 360's versions are running at 45+FPS..uhg..
i have a 360. if had the money to throw around i would buy a ps3 but i dont. the only reason i would want a ps3 would be for the last remnant and FF series.
FF will pretty much be the breaking point for me with the PS3 i figure with asian animation artists and with the amount they will use, there is absolutely no reason the art direction itself wont make the game look amazing if it's a let down, i'm done for good with PS3 gaming
Ps3 isn't buying Xbox 360, what a load of crap that is. Sony is already in millions of dollars of debt as it is for faulty products. I wouldn't be suprised if ps3 gets called back tomorrow. Remember psp? what a load of marketing that was.
dude they wouldnt do that, if it gets too bad they just wont make the next console. and besides some cool games coming out soon, ps3 aint a complete failure, just too many mistakes that take time to solve
nah u said its a failure, and allthough it failed at some points which 360 suceeded, its still not a complete failure. one could actually say both consoles failed, and that wii is the winner. but everyone knows wii is shit lol
yet the Wii has sold nearly twice what the PS has.. as for the PS3 as of now it's failed as a "next gen" console, the newer games coming out now were designed as launch products, therefor they look like garbage compared to the newer 360 exclusive titles The only hope for PS3 is the long term life, consoles live or die on "Exclusive" titles, of which the PS may have 2-3 notable games as of now. Imo u dont be seeing huge exclusive PS3 titles until mid-late 2008

I think it about sums up everything that's wrong with the ps3. from the sticker shock, to the lack of games, to the relative complexity of operation, to the bundling of unneeded hardware (blu-ray has a 50/50 shot at becoming the next betamax), it seems that sony has, once again, designed a shit box that completely ignores the wants, needs, and budgets of it's target audience. to me, graphics aren't everything. Sure, i like pretty games, but the important part of games is their playablity ($$$ factors in a lot here too). the fact that A) game companies will have to spend more money to actually use the advanced graphics engine, and B) they probably won't (except for high end games, like ff), leads me to believe that this is another sony system that should have been an abortion. my predictions: sony will continue to lose market share, alienate their customers, and will be forced, after years of losing money, to stop console developement and focuse on game developement (which actually makes a profit).
well to me graphics are 50%. 25% the genre and 25% if i think i will like it, after watching reviews etc. Wii is like 25% , ps3 at like 75%. xbox at like 50%
It doesn't really matter if you think the 360 got owned in exclusive games, because the PS3 is getting ass raped by the 360 and the Wii in sales. That's all that matters.
So many people say "xbox has more and better games". I hope you people realize what sony created years before microsoft put that xbox piece of shit money maker on the market. I played the playstation for years. Iv owned a xbox and played the 360. Still the vast selection of games sony has over xbox cant even be compared. Xbox put halo on the market and i swear since that game came out its like you can now judge the system. Xbox might have the lead but sony will win the race.
