virtually nothing in india Nepal has very few positions and is low pay... voluntary is a different kettle of fish if you want cash and dont have a degree, getting a tefl seems like the best bet then head to SE asia, indonesia
China pays well. There are different bands of wage depending on how qualified you are e.g TEFL, TEFL and Degree, Degree alone etc. Doing a TEL is an amazing experience too, but don't expect it to be easy and you'll come out of it analysing everything. Madness.
I live in India and there are plenty of well-qualified INDIANS to fill all the English teaching positions here, so good luck finding a teaching job. I did find one, though. Yeah, I get paid very little and all that I do get paid goes into buying supplies and rewards for my students. And my husband's aunt is the principle of the school.. so there you go. But, I'm only doing it for the experience. When I return to the US, I'll have something to put on my resume. As someone else said, try China. If you're heading to Asia specifically to find a teaching job, China, Taiwan, Korea are all good places but even now, it's getting to where they'll only hire people with at least a B.A. (in any subject) But, come to India and do some volunteer work. I doubt you'll find any good resources online, but if you're proactive and outgoing once you get in India, you'll find plenty of volunteer opportunities. PS, Were you the person who sent me a PM about teaching jobs in India? Are you coming to Hyderabad?
