Torrent sites blocked

so I'm in some dorms and I cant download anythign form torrent sites.
I can get there and clickt he link to start th download but nothignhappens after that. Any way to go around it?

 

Comcast has blocked all torrent uploading

a torrent site had a little post about it awhile ago:

As reported in the news lately, Comcast Communications, a US cable company with pretty widespread marketshare has, without prior warning, is preventing its customers from uploading (seeding) via the bittorrent protocol. If you're a comcast customer, I would suggest letting them know that you're not appreciative.

you should be careful trying to download music and movies at schools, i heard a while ago that some schools where kicking students out because they were downloading illegal stuff. Might just be a rumor though.

 

I used to do heavy heavy pirating shit and I almost got arrested, they started sending me letters and all types of shit

Your school probably has some kind of policy since everybody pirates shit these days. Some schools will take away your internet or do something harsh to you the first time you get caught, but others won't really do that much or anything. Mine never did anything when I lived in the dorms, and I downloaded all kinds of shit.

 

isohunt is the best site, and since I live in Canada piracy is all good

 

I prefer the Pirate Bay, myself. There's a political party (the Pirate Party) in Sweden because of them.

I mostly use IsoHunt.. then i start goin down the line.. TorrentSpy.. Mininova.. Piratebay.. if i can't find'em there.. its a good possibility i wont find it then
