I don't know if there's a thread on this already and I apologize if there is but I really want to get a small tattoo on my wrist. I was going to do it the other day but I wasn't sure if it hurts or not. Does anyone know? I've heard it hurts a lot because of the bones and how sensitive the wrist can be but this is coming from people who haven't had tattoos done.
i got a wrist tattoo 2 weeks ago.... it was my first, and honestly, i was SHOCKED cus it diddnt hurt at all, it was a little uncomfortable when she went over my tendant but that was it!!! And it diddnt have a lingering pain atall, it felt completely fine afterwards! What are you thinking about getting done?
I think i want to get a big star and then next to that a smaller star. No color though. The big star is just gonna be an outline of a star and then the little star is all black. When I get it, which I think is for Christmas, I will def. post sweet ass pix of it. DSOTM, I agree. When I started asking about the pain for a nose piercing, everyone was saying it didn't hurt and it hurt me like hell. But it looks awesome so who cares.
i didnt hurt me. i know alot of people do say the inner wrist hurt but i dont tihnk so. btu then again i had taken a few valiums beforehand. but jus do it!
It depends on your tolerance of pain. On some people, it might hurt like hell. On others, it may just be a mild tingling. If you want the tattoo, get it - don't dwell on the question of will it hurt. Think about how cool it's gonna look when it's finished.
if my hand is palm side up, I have one there on my wrist. what would you call that, like inner wrist? It didn't really hurt at all, only when a line would follow a vein for too long. It didn't really bleed at all either.
it's all about the pain - the ink and jewelry are just souveniers!! as fer gettin a tattoo on yer inner wrist, make sure you position it above the bend wrinkles cuz when you tattoo an area where your skin wrinkles, thats where you'll fade ink first
my inner wrist hurt a bit... it was the most painful tattoo compared to the rest.. but it weasnt extreme... just more than the others i guess.. actually my next tattoo is gunna be on my other wrist i think.
mine did not hurt hardly at all, it was my first one and I was so shocked. I have one on my foot and that HURT! but the wrist was fine. but totally each to their own pain tolerance...but in compaison to boney places like ribs/feet I think it's a lot easier.
