found some odd plant thing...

i took this pod off of a tree. it is round, about 1 inch across, yellow/green with sharp, raised spines similar to a cactus. the tree itself had long leaves and wasn't too tall. i think it may be psychoactive cuz it was pretty well hidden

any ideas folks? i live in NH and i've never seen it before...
(sorry, my camera is busted)

 

well it sounds similar to datura...
but not all hidden things are psychoactive.

 

i thought datura had a flower...? this "cactus ball" came off of a tree...

i finally found out what it is: datura! my dad has been growing it in his yard "because it's cool looking"
(just thought i'd share that)

Strange anyone would stop on the side of a highway to pick up some seed pods unless they knew exactly what they were. If you're dad is actually using that stuff to trip, he's insane. =P
