theirs been thousands of them. I went to one called hippiefest just about a month ago. Ratdog, The turtles, badfinger. Good show man
wow i always see a bunch in west virginia...but virginia, im sure theres been quite a few. all good music festival is always held on marvins mountaintop in wv sometime in july. i went and i highly suggest you try to make the trip there next year and experience it for yourself. it truly is a trip
i never know about stuff happening in melbourne everyone lives soo far away in america, and the uk :l
It's very difficult to find any here. When there is one, the tickets cost a bomb (usually £150 each for the weekend, at least) and the musical is'nt neccesarily tomy taste either. I hate all that dance rave stuff, waving glow sticks around and too much LCD.
^I agree! It's so hard to find hippie fests in the UK! There was one a while ago called the green man festival but like you said, it was alot of money and you had to be accompanied by an adult if you were under eighteen. Much peace and love wished your way guys xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I've been to the Fairport Cropredy Convention in England last year, all folk and folk rock bands. You're right about the price, but I think you would dig the atmosphere there! Especially if you like Fairport Convention of course  Saw Steeleye Span there as well, which was awesome too. Wanted to see them for a long time. Lots of playing kids and flags as well. Over half of the audience was over 40 years old though... haha, didn't really bother me, just noticed it since it's rarely the case at most festivals I've attended. It had quite an hippie atmosphere. I would like to check out Eastern haze as well sometime.
some one needs to start the revolution man u know what i'm sayin its like i'm hearin all a bout concerts and stuff but no one is doin any thing about it if some one was to go state to state geting all the hippies to geather for one big move ment putting posters all over towns than the government would have to listin to us
