Question about Tripping For my First Time

Alright,

I've never tripped on anything before

but i plan on trying acid sometime next week, and i have some questions.

if i took just one hit, by myself, in my room at night, when everyone else in my family is asleep, do you think id be alright andn ot get caught?

if i just laid in bed and listened to some music with headphones?

please tell me if this would work, along with ways i could not get caught, and maybe some cool shit i could could do that would be trippy thanks

 

Well for one thing, have you done any type of hallucinogen before like magic mushrooms or even strong Salvia tripping? Some people are ok with 1 hit their first time because it is considerably weaker than in the 60's. It should be fine, the only problem I can see is that you will be in your room sitting there for about 6 hours of tripping which can sometimes get claustrophobic, overwhelming and boring. Good luck with tripping, perhaps find a new setting in which to hither to for that evening of the event? :H

 

I don't like that idea, like Colimon said it would be very boring... I have found that the most important thing is to be somewhere where you feel safe from thngs like parents, the law, that kinda stuff... Somewhere that you will feel comfortable for 4 to 6 hours... A place where you can make some noise if you want to... A peaceful setting is best for your first time to see how it effects you...

 

You could probably pull it off in your room but i dont know why you would want to. Maybe your room is more interesting, but i couldnt handle tripping for 6 hours in mine. And if one of your parents walked in youd be fucked. Id save it for a day im with my friends.

6 hours is just the main bit. lasting up to twelve and you probably won't be able to sleep till atleast ten or 11 hours have passed.

It is of course plausible and may even be fantastic. I don't think you can actually get bored on acid but you may be prevented form doing somethign that you want to do. Liek explore or see something different watch a film or whatever.

Also should things get bad due to whatvere trigger (probably unlikely if you have a positive mind set as your own room is proabably a good setting) then you dont want to be freaking out and have teh worry of your parents finding out.

I would suggest finding a few friends (whether they want to trip or not, so long as they dont make you feel pararnoid/judged/etc.) take the trip in teh morning as early as possible and then chill uot in a field/in nature or soemthing.

That way, say you take it at 10am, you'll be okay to face yoru family etc at teh end of the day.

I was experienced and quite well versed with mdma and mushrooms before i tryed it and had the best time of my life....had i not been exprienced...the trip would have been considerably less enjoyable. Tripping is unlike anything you have ever felt or experienced; LSD in particular. Ide start with a moderate dose of mushrooms before skipping directly to LSD. If you do decide to do it...DO NOT take more then one tab. While ive had tabs that have fried me to the point of orbiting the Earth off only one, it was straight from a festival...most street acid doesnt compare or even come close to that kind of potency so you should be set...start low, thats all the advice i can give. After a few hours if you feel comfortable, maybe take another

Do not eat more early on just because it hasnt hit you yet...LSD can creep sometimes and after that second hit is swallowed you might immediatly start tripping balls off the first, that second may push beginners over the top. Be cautious...LSD is a hell of a drug

 

I would agree with teh being cautious but i disagree with teh "do other drugs first" theory. LSD was teh first drug I did besides caffiene and loved it. I imagine if I'd have done mushrooms first (which i enjoy but have moments of darkness on occasionally) I would have felt a little negative towards the LSD.

I think teh problem with when you're young is you don't know who you are. I got lucky in that i was a suitable candidate for LWSD. but knowing who you are and where you fit into teh world, how yu react to things, what your peronsality and social wekanesses and strengths are etc. is somethign people shoudl know more abotuthemaselves than say their parents or family.

I would not advice doing acid on thier own the first time. I am experienced in practically every drug going and have a lot of experience with mushrooms. I naively thought that because of this I would be fine on acid, I was wrong, it completely blew me away on one hit, if I didn't have my friend there to tell me what i was feeling was normal for the drug i think I would have had a very bad trip, luckily I was fine though. I would also say try and keep a bit of control the first time i.e eyes open and talking, lying in a dark room with head phones on i would think is a bad idea if you are not used to the drug.
